Hello everyone! I am George Tantu, 34 years old, living in Romania. For one year, I have been exploring passions such as bushcraft, outdoor cooking, and camping. These experiences have led me to a deeper understanding of nature and inspired me to live simply in the midst of nature. Recently, I made a bold decision and moved to an abandoned mountain village in the Muntenia Region, where I built myself a small wooden cabin. I now live alone here, in a place where the peace and beauty of nature inspire me every day. My life became even more special when I found Maya, an abandoned puppy in critical condition, whom I adopted, and who is now my loyal companion.
I chose this lifestyle with difficulty; it is a personal but also a spiritual choice. One of the reasons is the loss of my puppy Sadie, who died in a car accident. It was a hard loss for me, as where I lived there was heavy traffic, and a moment of inattention cost me dearly. I know many of you have asked why I am alone and don't have a girlfriend with me; I have searched, but I have not been lucky. In the future, I plan to install a solar panel to have electricity for my needs. I would like to have a vegetable garden and to host more and more birds and small animals. I will do everything within my means and the resources available, being aware that there are many needs to be met, but each according to their possibilities.
My love for animals is very great, so much so that I have adopted two more little puppies, Tara and Bruno. Thank you for your support and for traveling with me on this adventure of simple and authentic living.
