Most microphones in his live performances can't handle his vocal range. I'm glad the sound system was on point here.
The thing they can't handle is the volume with which he sings his high notes because he needs to apply a lot of pressure to his voice to reach those notes!

His voice is just incredible. Especially the raw tone to it. His voice isn’t as technical or trained as say like Jason Mraz or Adele and the like. But the way his voice breaks and pitch is so beautiful and it makes you feel something
I think it’s the ‘story teller quality’ his voice has that makes it that way, because he is (very) classically trained since (at minimum) the age of 8, where he entered an all boys choir, as a soprano soloist if I remember correctly, it’s not choirs know to be easy to be allowed to preform for, and they also travel the world to perform on occasion.
But I agree that I hear a story teller with an amazing voice and complete control of his ‘instrument’, where as with the other singers you mentioned I firstly hear their control/technique etc.
They are amazing singers, but I wouldn’t call them storytellers, because I personally feel very little feeling comes out of their voices when they sing, compared to Lukas.

Honestly one of my most favorite artists out there. He’s just so genuine and human. You can tell because throughout his music you can see his personality. He loves his friends and his family but he also loves to teach and show people new things. He’s an adventurer and go getter with a heart of gold. He’s also made mistakes and have learned from them and express them through the only way he knows how: with his music. As soon as I saw he was going to drop another album I never hit the pre-order button so fast in my LIFE. Nothing but love for you brother, never stop what you’re doing. 💝

i had the pleasure to meet this man a while ago. he has the voice of a god but is humble like a church singer. thats why i fking love this man, he has no reason to be arrogant. he is insane anyway.
