Haha. I remember when we interrogated that Cuman prisoner and he told my translator: "Te az a fasz ott melletted beszel magyarul?" and I like oh yeah, please continue with the full plot.
I killed all of Runt's little envoys including MoreCock right after they threatened me at the mill. I told them I wanted money and as soon they gave me the groschen I told them where timmy was and I chased every single one down and shot them dead for even trying to threaten me and my horse, pebbles. Only one got away because I spent the extra time shooting MoreCock in the head once he had surrendered and dropped his sword. That lucky bastard.
Well i dont know they were trying to speak Hungarian since the Cumans were Turkish Nomads more related to Mongolians and they had nothing to do with Hungary... strange indeed
@@zealeau They had quite a lot to do with Hungary. For instance, Sigismund of Luxembourg (the Hungarian king who had Skalitz sacked at the start of the game) was king of Cumania as well (and of a lot of other countries). There are said to have been many Cumans settling down in Hungary at the time (mostly as mercenaries). So this part of the game does check out I think. Now, the fact they speak Hungarian amongst themselves as well instead of their mother language seems a little bit more weird to me, but it's probably because there's not much written Cuman historians can use to research the language as far as I'm aware. Moreover, Hungarians are also said to originate from somewhere east of the Ural mountains, but tread carefully when bringing this up around my countrymen 'cos this is a bit of a hot potato subject here. What I find more immersion-breaking though is that the Hungarian they speak has the occasional present-day colloquialism in it as well as the much shittier sound engineering compared to the English lines, probably because they did it internationally with whatever gear the Hungarian VAs had at hand; would be great if some Hungarians with good audio gear and voice acting chops took it upon themselves to mod this (probably not gonna happen).
@@davidkyo1985 i do not disagree with what you say, i only said about their true origin. In my opinion thr cumans is a turk - mongol tribe which settled down in the area as true nomads they where and found respect as warriors and mercenaries in Hungary. I am aware of sigismund i rrad about it when i started the game :) But originally cumans are not hungarians. But maybe thry started talking hungarian on the way, who knows. A good simial example are the viking warriors whuch went to Byzantium and the emperor took them as mercenaries in the army crrating a famous unit through medieval times, the varangian guard They also spoke Greek with time and settled in the area, getting land, huge wealth and titles from their victories and loyalty. Everyone also later consider them as equal citizens and part of the empire. I am not sure but i think a varangian or descendents of them ruled the empire at some point. This is how i see the cumans also but maybe i am wrong
WTF, why was he not attacked on sight at the camp? I treated that as a stealth mission gaining that intelligence, and I had to, since they were all instantly hostile.
Because he'd previously been a dick during the Timmy-hunting sidequest and gave the bandits his location, so MoreCock asked him to join them, overstepping his authority somewhat. I usually just kick their ass behind the windmill at the first encounter, they have some expensive loot.
Yeah good thing i did not join this band in the first play, send them to Rattay , took their Groschen and then stealth killed the sucker they left to guard me Regarding this camp, you have more changes if you dress up as a Cuman soldier or captain , just make sure the outfit is not ruined and then go for a walk in there , you can even throw poison in their food ... if you do not have a cuman outfit then as you approach the camp from the woods go right up the hill and there is a hole in one building from where you can also enter the camp or escape if needed. There is a chest with an easy lockpick, inside is a full set of Cuman outfit
Wow..I didn't know that all was possible. I broke in during nighttime from the eastern entrance and killed everyone off.. Next day everyone was alive again and fought us...
Ive never met this Morkock not did I do any quests for/with him. I just searched the camp for weaknesses, poisoned the food, set the arrows on fire, ran back and then attacked. What did I do wrong?
The problem with this game is only important characters actually have their own face, the non important npcs share the same appearance which isn’t good enough for a £60 game with years of development
Keeno hey do you think they would make a different face for hundreds of different npcs you probably will see only once, well they could make a random face generator.
Keeno all games do the exact thing your whining about like for instance skyrim a 60 dollar game has 1 voice actor who does 90% of all of the npcs in the entire game your argument is basically asking them to make hundreds of individual unique characters you would be better off asking the devs to make every tree in all of bohemia to look unique and npt like any other
"Oh so you're looking for that Czech drunkard Mach (sic). Sure, I'll take you to him." During the execution scene with Runt, the HU-CZ interpreter is pretty accurate.
Sooo. there is a way to kill the hole camp by yourself... daym i wish i had thought of that... Game is too easy when you masterd the combat system. Now i wana dual whield mechanics so i can berserk down hole citiys of enemys...
It really is too easy, espacially since I got to lvl 15+ in my fighting skills before I started with the main quests (after the Intro ofc and already equiped with the best gear you can buy). During that quest I must have been around Lvl 16 - 18 and I killed every bandit in this camp before the battle...only to find out that it didnt change anything. I couldnt even tell Radzig how I killed all of them ;(
somehow I ended up stuck between the roof of some tents and a wall , and I could get out of it easily, but no one could get near me. and If I crouched no arrows could hit me, so I ended up killing all the guys in the outer camp with my bow. Sadly I couldn't tell Radzig about it.
Well it's not like dual wielding is unlrealistic at all. But it was never done much, because there are better alternatives, like using a shield. But some times swords were used alongside another shorter sword in the other hand, or a dagger for parrying. So if they want realism they could have dualwielding in the game, and just not make it work better than 1h plus shield for instance.

If someone named Morcock came up to me and invite me to join a group of brigands I’d laugh at him.
0:28 what Henry wants.
When cuman said
"vagy úgy, szóval azt a részeges csehet, Machot keresed...."
I felt that
What did he say?
@@edi9892 "Oh, so you're looking for that drunkard Czech, Mach" then "Sure, I'll take you to him". The Hungarian spoken in this game is pretty anachronistic at points, I gotta say, they use a lot of contemporary slang.
@@davidkyo1985 Thank you.
I helped Morcock, he told me where the camp is, I killed him as soon as he left the farm (his goons went the other, he was left alone).
When I walked into the camp, I started watching around, a guard caught me and told me to wait for morcock by the fire because he didn't arrived yet.
I waited for a bit, to see what happened, and nothing, called my horse there, mounted, and ran away because my pegasus had 60 speed and no one would catch me
Morecock.
They should have changed the quest task to "Wait For Morcock And Run Away"
Trick is just don’t go talk to Morcock. Lol by mentioning his name they let you into the camp and you can roam around wherever you want... just don’t go talk to him, whatever you do!
I snuck in, stealth killed everyone and walked out.
I go to that camp while i was low lv
After 100+ hours of training i come back for revenge
i killed everyone in that camp. ha
thatsnumberwang100 nah if you just run in and start killing, you'll only go up against cumans and bandits
Porkswordsman541 what he really meant to say was "More cock"
mh646 yeah I know, not the best joke so I just answered it as a question.
Porkswordsman541 lol
I made poisons for them the highest grade
Well that bandit's chief is more clever than radzig, no wonder they could burn skalitz so easily
Damn it. I bashed Morcock's skull in the moment I met him. Oh well.
it would make the game so much better if u were able to join them and it starts a whole new main quest line.
well who knows what they gonna add in future or what the modders gonna do with it. that would be for sure an interesting update/mod
That'd take way to long and i dont think this game has a big enough following for that.
well if we look on the sykrim modding communiy there were really great modders. if we get some modding tools for kingdom come we might see a big mod one day allowing us to join them. but it would take alot of efforts to give us a cool story that way .
Yeah but being realistic, you coiuldnt join, runt would recognize you and kill you.
I secretly killed everyone in the camp except Morcock. My reward for this was infinite loading after the cutscene.
I stealth killed the entire camp. Didn't even know I could talk to them.
Henry wants Morcock
Ngl thats pretty disappointing. Would've been good if you met runt etc and then during the actual siege when you chase him to the church he realises who you are etc
I felt really betrayed ngl
Me looking at the title, thinking i missed a whole new region and quest... Now I'm glad I poisoned everyone..
I bet whenever a situation pops up where they can say it the bandits say would you like morcock
Wow I had no idea there was a path where you could avoid getting attacked by morcock and his gang, I always attacked them at the windmill and killed them all in a single hit on every playthrough I've done
Maybe I shouldn't have become OP so early on in the game, I had over level 15 in every combat skill before I even found Reeky
Walde never understood why people would make themselves OP at start, especially in KCD. Ruins immersion completely
I thought this was a stealth mission. I spend around 40 minutes sneaking around camp half naked at midnight because I thought I mustnt be seen
It's funny that I understand everything that the Cumans are saying haha.
Haha. I remember when we interrogated that Cuman prisoner and he told my translator: "Te az a fasz ott melletted beszel magyarul?" and I like oh yeah, please continue with the full plot.
wow i didn't know you can do this . I just simply rushed to middle of the camp and escaped while killing 3-5 of them
I had no idea this was even in the game. I never befriended Morcock.
Never made it that far into the camp, lured them out and started to kill them with hit and run tactics over that narrow wooden bridge.
I went into this camp with my horse and killed half of the camp doing cavalry charges with my halberd!
Wow the voice in German is so much different
I killed all of Runt's little envoys including MoreCock right after they threatened me at the mill. I told them I wanted money and as soon they gave me the groschen I told them where timmy was and I chased every single one down and shot them dead for even trying to threaten me and my horse, pebbles. Only one got away because I spent the extra time shooting MoreCock in the head once he had surrendered and dropped his sword. That lucky bastard.
I laughed at morcock more than I should have
HHAHA
1:52 the only Hungarian word I understood from the cumans ever lol.
Provocations
A good simial example are the viking warriors whuch went to Byzantium and the emperor took them as mercenaries in the army crrating a famous unit through medieval times, the varangian guard
They also spoke Greek with time and settled in the area, getting land, huge wealth and titles from their victories and loyalty.
I never knew that the camp guards wouldn't attack you on site.
If you join morcock behind the mill you can get cash and acces to the camp
MORCOOOOOOOOOOOOOCK
Yeah good thing i did not join this band in the first play, send them to Rattay , took their Groschen and then stealth killed the sucker they left to guard me
Regarding this camp, you have more changes if you dress up as a Cuman soldier or captain , just make sure the outfit is not ruined and then go for a walk in there , you can even throw poison in their food ... if you do not have a cuman outfit then as you approach the camp from the woods go right up the hill and there is a hole in one building from where you can also enter the camp or escape if needed. There is a chest with an easy lockpick, inside is a full set of Cuman outfit
I am the only one who just spend week there trying to kill everyone?
What will happen if i killed morcock early in the game? Will this not be available anymore?
He wasn't even there in my play through.
You play this on gameboy advance?
Never spoke to anyone. I snuck in in full armor and lit up their arrows
You met him
lol what I didn't even know that was an option! xD Well, no luck for bad Henry xD
The problem with this game is only important characters actually have their own face, the non important npcs share the same appearance which isn’t good enough for a £60 game with years of development
Keeno hey if Skyrim can get away with it then it's fair game all around
60 pounds? i got it for 30 euro lol
Keeno 30 €... you got robbed.
Keeno hey do you think they would make a different face for hundreds of different npcs you probably will see only once, well they could make a random face generator.
Keeno all games do the exact thing your whining about like for instance skyrim a 60 dollar game has 1 voice actor who does 90% of all of the npcs in the entire game your argument is basically asking them to make hundreds of individual unique characters you would be better off asking the devs to make every tree in all of bohemia to look unique and npt like any other
Wot?? How can you find Morc....whatever...that way makes it worth replaying.
Can anyone translation what is he saying? They or he speak Hungarian language.
"Oh so you're looking for that Czech drunkard Mach (sic). Sure, I'll take you to him."
During the execution scene with Runt, the HU-CZ interpreter is pretty accurate.
Sooo. there is a way to kill the hole camp by yourself... daym i wish i had thought of that... Game is too easy when you masterd the combat system. Now i wana dual whield mechanics so i can berserk down hole citiys of enemys...
The game tries to be at least somewhat realistic. And you're asking for dual wield? Seriously?
Sadly I couldn't tell Radzig about it.
eh.. just grab a halberd and butcher everybody? easy.
You mean, you can just walk into the fucking camp? You don’t have to stumble and try to ninja your way all around it?
Didn't even suspect it would happens
wow morcock is a very unfortunate name
I killed morcock and the other 3 bandits when they were running from me before this so i guess this option wasnt available to me?
Well yeah i thought so but i have the tendency to slaughter anything that moves and doesnt decrease my reputation
Ah, Magyarok 😍
Oh nice, i didnt know this wouldw happen i told him where to find the farmer and go on his back just to break His neck while he was speaking to the guy
Why am i watching this when i already killed Runt
Haha I never did this option, just found the camp and killed everyone with my Cuman Bow.
0:25 LMAO
ok i just want to know how were you able to free roam as soon as i started walking around i was attacked. did i missed something or do something wrong
I killed all the bandits. When they attacked me.
