Never thought about bussing all my samples and filtering out the low. Dope tip! Your videos are really intuitive and you explain well. Keep banging brother!
When you added all the effects to the drum loop ..you can save cpu by using the bounce function to free up the precious memory especially in standalone. The sample bounces with all its added effects included.
You just opened my eyes I never knew I’m still new too all this but my favorite boom bap producers Pete Rock and DJ Premier all this time I thought they were finger drumming like that had me thinking I gotta get good at finger drumming and all this time they mostly were sampling drum breaks idk
🤣🤣 Yeah, fam. When I discovered this, my whole beat-making life changed! 🤣🤣🤣 So many classic breaks to choose from, too. It’s a large reason why I love ‘90s boom bap.
i mean boom bap drums wouldn't really be hard to finger drums since the rhythm is a bit minimal now if you talkin finger drumming trap now thats another level lol
Yes please make an arrangement video. Also your Top 10 effects plugins and what applications you use them in. I know you mentioned them in videos but to have them all in one place would be great! Thanks for putting in work bro with your videos!
Aw man, dope video! This is definitely my lane - that good ol’ boom bap! I use some of the techniques you mention already - such as using breaks and filtering for the bassline - but you also put me on to some new ones to try out! And I love your creative chop use. That’s DJ Premier level sampling! 😆🙌🏾 Good stuff all around. Thanks so much for sharing this, my dude. ✊🏾
@@davidscott2095 Bro, we were there at the same time! I was supposed to be c/o ‘99 but it took me a little longer to get out. Too much fun at the Rat parties! 😆
Do you have an auto sample video bro? I have my sounds on MPC one now. I’m trying to auto sample sounds from Zenology and Xpand!2 and jv-1080. I’m using Mpc software

@@Rah229 or if your using chops just bounce that program to sample because bounce to sample works on a per pad function
