I'm really hoping Mel father is Doc. And the twins are finally coming after 5 seasons. It's babout time, but I hate that Calvin is back from the dead and the father. 😮
there has to be some twists and turns in the story....otherwise, there is not excitement for Christmas....This is one series, I always have a peaceful and feel good factor :)
I think Brady is not a bad guy.He is just a type of trouble maker.Not because he wants to be .His intentions are good, but the bad guys always find him.And he has weak personality.He is a bit of looser type. But I think he is a honest person.Definitely With his feelings towards Brie, he wouldn't be fake good boy if he is not as opposed to Mike. Strange, because at the very begining I didn't like him.But now I feel sorry for him, he is loosing everything. His house, his love and sometimes people misjudge him.

I thought till a min ago it's Bug. Lily's dead husband. He makes sense since he died and his grave is still there at the farm. Mel is buying the farm bow and Eva showed up for a reason in the show. And they have kinda same disease and look alike. Eva might already know. But the biggest hint is Cloe. Since season 1 I thought Mel will adopt her and finally has her child and another miscarriage was the reason. It makes all sense to find her siblings there. Also preacher said: her father is still pretty much here in VR but the look on his and Mel's face was sad, like his spirit is still there. Like in Buck. Then I went with Charlie since he had the connection with Mel at s.1 and is too many times in the show. Also he loves VR more than anybody Hile said. But now here is the twist. If they go the bad way and that's the look on mels face when Preacher was about to tell it to jack 😮 if it's Nick than Melissa the drug lord is her aunt and nicks wife said: if i imagine having a secret child since nick and me can't have any kids 😂 bam that's the hint!!!!! Bec I just re-watched s.5 and noticed that sentence
OK so here is what I think. I think doc is Mel's father they just have that special bond that I see. And I really really hope Brie and Brady do not get back together. He was just hardly never there for her. Even though they broke up if he loved her he should've gone to the trial. Then I would liked him a little more. Her and Mike should be together he been there when she needs him most. They worked a case together in season 4 and he was there for her doing the trial. That made me like him a lot more. That's what I think.

Aside from being faithful to the original story in the books, their story is a reminder that love, like in real life, doesn't have to be filled with drama and complications. Slow burn romance are underrated. Brie and Mike came together as friends. There was an attraction between them, sure. But did they cross the line while Brady and Brie are still together? NO. Plus, who wouldn't get attracted to Mike? Lol. 😅 I mean we're so used to the drama in relationships that we never realized it can be really simple and boring if we choose it to be. Mindful romance is a good endgame because it means two people are together out of secure love and healed selves, not trauma and baggages. Brady deserves to be happy too, but Brie was clearly not the one because she did not see who he truly is. She only saw what he did wrong, sadly. But that happens in real life too.

I hope Brie and Mike end up together, in real life someone like Brie would not really be compatible with Brady, I never got that relationship. Mike and Brie seem like they're genuine friends and lovers and have a solid foundation for a meaningful relationship ehereas Brie and Brady were more lust, would suck if the writers decide to put Brie and Brady together.

I've never understood why they always promote joining the army in American movies? Why does someone become a hero if he goes to fight in Afghanistan, Iraq, etc.? The dream of every young American men is to be killed or become mentally injured in a war that is not really their war. They don't defend their country, but they kill innocent people with created reasons in order to take something from them that was never theirs. After they return, they are mentally ruined. And they are heros. No one forced them to go there like in the wars in the past.

It's lily's husband & makes all sense now. Mel buying the farm and she has that connection to lily's oldest daughter and she donated to Tara before. So that way she finally gets a child in Cloe. I think flashbacks of Mel is proving that Mel knew all along. She must have found that letters as well and that's why she came to VR in the first place but lily's oldest daughter knows i thing. Why would she show up anyway

Is everybody forgetting about Lizzie being pregnant?? Why are shows like this that very young women who just got over their teenage years become moms suddenly (if she wants to keep the baby and she actually manages to give birth)... Just my opinion but maybe the producers do it just for the drama but please... I don´t think it should be a role modeling thing, but yeah i guess especially in little towns people do become moms at a very young age. And in no show does the young mom do abortion and the series focuses on the hardships of that, even though I´d say abortion is much more realistic and popular option among 19 year old girls like her (at least in my country) ? Virgin River is supposed to be real and raw, and show stuff that other shows don´t.
I 100% agree. Making Lizzie pregnant actually made me groan out loud! I think I’m done with this show if they are going to fall back on old tropes of teenage pregnancy, especially with such a strong character as Lizzie. Super disappointing.

Virgin river has 21 books 📚 by R. Carr . In books Brie and Mike fall each other first and they were married. They changed alot for series'. I still think they will make Brie and Mike endgame couple even if they put her back with Brady. I'm not fan of Brie and Brady relationship so did research and found in book Brie and Mike were the actual couple.
I hope not. I hope Brie and Mike end up together. That's what happens in the book I hope it happens in the show.

Mike knew Brady and Brie were together but he start hitting on her and popping up almost everywhere she is. My heart goes out to Brady. Probably the story has not yet finished here.Brady and Brie are going to be together. Actually I was thinking about that if They were meant to be together how painful it would be for Hazel. She looked a nice girl too. How could the writers get rid of her? But now we know that how. That telephone call told everything.And other lines were cut in a weird way. So I am sure there will be more season(s). Oh, Preacher and Peagion's crime story will also continue. That phone call between the two P's wasn't just a Christmas wish call. And I missed Conie. And what about Lily's baby?

I agree! Mike is just too... plain. He is a good and stable guy and probably what Brie needs right now but man, its boring LOL Brady is flawed but he's not a bad guy, bad luck just seems to follow him.. Plus the chemistry between those two are way better than plain old Mike LOL

Mike is boring is an untrue and biased statement considering he only comes around for cases and previous writers never give any big part. Brady on the other hand has had trouble since season one and his face is always plain with no smile. Is that excitement. Brady is not the guy girls settle down with and who says otherwise knows we choose them. In the book Brie and Mike are romantically involved also married. thank God. I hate Brie and Brady's relationship so much had to research if they are endgame.

The actress who plays Muriel is actually 15 years older IRL. So technically she could be his mother but not very likely. She is 60 and I think she looks great for her age.

LOL, fans need to research before commenting, I never liked Brie and Brady's relationship. I did my research and found out Brie and Mike are an actual couple in the books and got married so Mike did not come out of thin air. Mike could have lied about everything but chosen to tell the truth. whether they put Brady & Brie together again is not supposed to end the game couple that Mike and Brie. The writer changed the book and put her with Brady instead of Mike first. The book summary never said anything about her being with Brady. That is a plant for the show.
You need to go back and watch all ten ep before judging Mike. Mike praises Brady to Brie at the hospital and actually gives all credit and all a hero but she did not choose him. Please stop.
