Well,. it's not a bad game. So, of course there are people, including me, who love 06. That however, can't be said for Rise of Lyric
No, it just means people still see the good even in that which is bad
Well the game is still awful, it's just it resembles a concept very close to a Sonic adventure 3, and it holds a lot of potential in that regard.

I am going to have to agree that 06 does need a remake for Nintendo Switch. But I still love the PS3 edition.

Wow, this looks sooo good! All the improvements and overall choice improvements! I would play and pay $60 for a remake like this.

@@wildberrysherbert3803 This one is a bit understandable though since it's a product of its time. Also, I just found out Colors Ultimate was rushed as well. Just another thing to make SEGA learn they don't need to be *that* caring towards their fans, if they need to postpone the release, then postpone it. We can wait.
Sonic 06 is one of those Sonic games that I can't help but love and have a ton of frustrations with. I would be thrilled to see this game get a remake!
I was just thinking the same thing... how amazing it'd be if SEGA just came out with a remaster/remake out of the blue like they will with Sonic Colors soon.
@@jmas2593 I get the feeling that if they are gonna be remastering Colors, they should do games like Unleashed, Generations, and what the heck throw Lost World into the ring!

It should be labeled Sonic Modern Collection. And honestly they don't need to do much with Unleashed just polish up some textures and a little lighting the game still holds up extremely well for a 2008 game.

Seeing how they managed to finally mod spindash as modern sonic maybe they could fix the boost in 06 generations.
People would just want a playable version without the glitches, loading screens, and the whole Sonic and Elise love story thing
Sonic 06 is my second favorite sonic game, no joke, I love the levels, love the characters (besides elise) love the voice actors, goes back to the adventure formula, and the thing it, it had way more potential that they could use in a remake.

There should be an MMO based on Sonic 06. It has a neatass hub world and a wide cast of playable characters. As well as exploration you could also race other players.

Say what you want about this game (vanilla), but two things are for certain: Not only did it have a lot of potential that was sadly wasted, it had/has an amazing soundtrack. In fact, I was one of the few people who, despite its flaws really enjoyed it.
Wait... is it seemlessely switching from the fast breaks to the traditional platforming?🤯 It’ feels so elegant. I often questioned why they didn’t do it this way in the original nor why later games didn’t go for this🙏🏿💯🖤

Surely I'm not the only one who thinks.. no, KNOWS that '06 had potential. From a gameplay standpoint at least. I honestly believe if they took the time to rewrite the story and TAKE THEIR TIME on the game, they could remake '06 into a fantastic game.

The Generations stage has like no shadows. It's so bright.
It’s an old version of the mod, that’s why lol. Brianu is doing up all the stages for the next version. Also bear in-mind that the tools back then weren’t as good as they are now. Lots of new developments have been made since then.
@@TheeMentorDex Ah. I see. I'd expect the Generations modding tools to be much more efficient now. Everything else about this old mod is great though. Just the lack of any shadows is for a lack of a better word, glaring. You guys are great modders though.
