The interpretation I came up with, based on the Thoth Tarot book and the interpretation of the image in relation with my personal knowledge, is that Ace of cups, as it says, is the manifestation of the element of water in its purest original form. The image shows a flow of energy from the Universe, through de body, and into the Earth, and surrounding this main stream of energy, a toroidal shape, manifesting the way back to the source and the cycle of regeneration and endlessness of energy. It is a flow of energy in a balanced form, it reminds me a lot of Reiki. The emotions are rooted, and yet, connected with the higher energies.
Doesn't a reversed Four of Cups signify a need to wake up and smell the coffee? That's how I've always interpreted it, that it's informing the reader that they're too dreamy and need to focus on the immediate reality.
No ace of cups?
same! ??
