- Puddle Of Mudd Live in concert with their Striking That Familiar Chord Official DVD release 2005. Had to cut the video for She Hates Me due to copyright but the audio is still there. This video also contains there acoustic set. I ripped the acoustic set my self with some struggles so it might be a bit laggy at times.

Now THIS is puddle of mudd.
I will always sing this band's praises. The combo of Wes, Paul, Greg and Doug is one of the most strongest line-ups in rock music in recent memory. Greg is a fucking beast; Paul is smart and melodic; Doug is a masterful songwriter and brilliant bassplayer and Wes has a distinctive snarl and is no songwriting slouch either.
This band also inspired me heavy when it came to writing my own songs and performing my own music.
Nobody talks about the sound man behind the console that night, the sound on this is absolutely fantastic! 💯 Headphones on ⚡
It’s a DVD release. The mix you hear does not necessarily represent the front-of-house mix. This would have been mixed specifically for DVD release (and may have been fixed here and there if/as needed)

Do you guys realize what you’re hearing on this recording is not what it sounds like in the room, 2 different mixes and this was remixed after the show and possibly even re-recorded so spots

This is such a great concert! When i watched the concerts between 2012 and 2017 it made me sad, but i was so happy when i saw the filmed 2019 Housten gig, you can find on RUclips. His voice is not the same anymore, but Wes is sober, playing guitar again and give his best to get the power back.

I so agree, James Hatfield blew out his voice too. Doesn't make him now bad, just not as powerful as he once could. Ut I've heard some shows from this year where he sounds really good. I'm also just so happy he's doing better. I really need to tell him somehow gow much his voice is literally keeping me afloat rn through one of the hardest months of my life. I need to tell him. 💜

I HAVE SEEN TOOL 8 TIMES. GOJIRA, OPETH, INCUBUS, SEVENDUST AND NUMEROUS OTHER HUGE BANDS. THE BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN WAS PUDDLE OF MUDD IN AGOURA HILLS AT A DINNER CLUB CALLED "THE CANYON CLUB". SMALL AUDIENCE AND INTIMATE SETTING AND THEY KILLED IT. AWESOME SHOW!

Known them since this concert was new, but never did a deep dive passed the like 4 radio played hits they had before now cause I just never had the presence of mind to, but I just recently did because I needed this sound in my life. I can honestly say they have now gotten me through the worst couple weeks of my life. And I adore them now. Easily a top 5 band for me now. Wes's voice is literally soothing my own pain and I just wish I could have caught them live this passed Friday, but I couldn't make it. Maybe next year. 💜

Saw Puddle of Mudd back when this dvd came out I think. But it was Thornley (awesome live) Puddle of Mudd (absolutely amazing) 3 doors down (meh) and Nickelback (meh but I think this is also when the drummer from Nickelback and 3 doors down swapped) POM blew it up and made the others use their money to make more power. Miss those days.

Can anyone tell me who was behind the kit for this show? His backing vocals are amazing! Really lifts these songs up. Great sounding video overall.
End credits answered my question for me :). I suspected it was Greg Upchurch looking at the lineup timeline on Wikipedia, but they don’t have him credited with any backing vocals (Dave Moreno who replaced him, does) and Greg doesn’t have any backing vocal credits with 3 Doors Down (who he’s been playing with since 2005) either. Weird?

Blurry is very obviously not the actual audio from the concert. Camera pans over to the guitar player during the harmonics and his guitar is sitting on his leg. Probably the album version instrumentals 😂

Damn. This is when this band was legit. Now after 20 arrest and 20 different line-up changes, this band is basically a joke today. Wes use to give a fuck. Today he doesnt even play the guitar and he sits down through most of his set and doesnt even yell or hit the high parts anymore. Such a shame.
Wes is doin better today bro, check them out and see it by yourself. It's great to see that he still loves what he do and still tries his best to keep P.O.M alive! It's a blessing for us long time fans 🙏🏼🤘🏼
