  • Well... Nationals was an experience. Not quite as I had hoped or expected.
I did end up competing, although with an injury. I took several full points of difficulty our of my routines and still performed quite well.
Thank you all for all of your support. It means a lot to me.

I feel so bad how you were in pain during this meet, but really good job considering the circumstances. Congrats on making champs that’s a huge rite of passage!

I’m so sorry that you can’t compete usas that’s a real bummer, but keep your head held high! You still qualified (even with what seems like a harsh injury 😅) you should be very proud of yourself!

@@EthanCoxGymnastics Perhaps a tiny bit. I am glad to see you are very much concerned about recovery vs competing too. An injury made worse can stand a chance of being permanent. And those are no fun.

Oh yeah forgot to ask you, how did you like OKC? Thinking of going to the university of Oklahoma for college?

It was pretty good we didn’t do a whole lot in OKC but I did get to see the college and it was good I liked it.

What did you mean by “qualifying for national team one more year”? Are you not able to in future years?

No, I will have more opportunities. I just hope to stay on this coming year as well.

Amazing performance! Even the stuff after the injury.
There is a Chinese topical (a liniment) formula for injuries called "Dit De Jow" and I have used it for a few muscle and bone injuries. Not sure it worked b/c I was mega dosing all the vitamin and supplement repair compounds too. I've had excellent success with acupuncture for injuries, and acu for injuries usually is at "distal" points (not near the actual injury). You might want to looking into this modality.
