As a Brit, I was actually born in Pakistan. Lovely Country, haven't been around much, but have visited Lahore. I love you speak urdu as you go along. I may have to visit again, but in colder climates. I'm a Mancunian, I don't do hot weather LOL!

I've travelled in this AC parlor last year from Karachi to Margalla, its last stop. And the journey felt like extremely exhausting and like i hadn't slept in days. The seats don't recline more than 3 inches and you can't get any sleep by sitting whatsoever as the train keeps moving continuously. I wouldn't recommend anyone to try the parlor for longer routes like Karachi to Lahore or Karachi to Islamabad. For 6 to 7 hour routes, it is fine.
same I've in this from margalla station to karachi cantt and it was so exhausting. im going from karachi cantt to margalla and this time we got business cabin with berths

We decided not to pay the extra for the ac business which is really just a 6 person shared room lying down so not fully private either. We were happy to have the experience of the ac parlour 👍

Ash and Dan guys you chose the right train class, just like the British vlogers OTWD. The other British vlogers who chose the lowest class complained that the trains are pathetic, they could have chosen the same Parlour as you guys did. Ellis VR and Patricia didn't leave a single comment which was without swearing. But Jack Aynsley and Paige were way too nice like you guys..... loved the journey ❤️♥️

Hello guys. Green line train has 19 some times 20 coaches. 17 of them are passenger coaches 2 are power vans which provide power to whole train.

Karachi to Lahore ac sleeper 2 persons with personal restroom of karachi express train is best which includes a restaurant boogie
Better to bring your own food, because the food in train is unhealthy and expensive. Ask the hotel in which you are staying to make and pack some food for traveling

There is another Category, AC Sleeper but not with Greenline. It has compartment of two and four with attached toilet.
That would’ve been ideal! Next time we will try this cabin 🚂

As you are doing double backpack, if you wear front one first and then the one on the back, it will be easy for you to move and you will not need to adjust your front pack every now and then. Just saying.

@@AshAndDan. Shoulders are shaped forward, that's why they make a natural hook for backpack on your back. Front backpack will slip because the human shoulder-back is round.

There seemed to be plenty of tickets available even booking on the day of travel. If in future I’d probably book the day before just to be on the safe side. It’s hard to see how many tickets are available when booking online is so difficult! Thanks for watching 👍

Bro you shouldn't be travel on AC parlour 18 hours long journey but you should be travel ac sleeper twin cabin
18 Hour train journey shouldn't have these kinds of recliner seat. In India only smaller train journeys which are usually 6-8 Hours have these seats. Otherwise the train has sleeper seats. Pakistan should also do the same otherwise love the interior design.
I think we would try either the sleeper bus next time or maybe a sleeper compartment on the train. It was a nice cabin, just not ideal for a 18 hour journey.
Try A/C sleeper class which offers 2 persons cabin with 2 berths and attach bath.
All classes are available in Pakistan railways. AC sleeper. Business class. Ist AC. 2nd AC and 3rd AC chair car's and economy class. All are available in this train and all train's of Pakistan railways. But No seat for booking for those person. All seat's are booked in advance.

We have railways but not for emergency purpose. We have to get the reservation like 3-4 months before the train departure.
India should learn from them

Stop lying. Tatkal scheme is there for Train Reservation in India. The bookings for Tatkal seats opens one day before the journey.

12200 km = 5200 km of newly laid tracks + 7000 km of replacement tracks to replace old existing tracks.

Only a complete dunce would compare India and Pakistan in Railways.
@@death_parade are you mad or what, everyone know that even getting a confirmed ticket in tatkal is very big problem here.
Most of the time servers crash, there are so many contenders at the queue that there is a 60 to 70 percent chance that you will not get a tatkal ticket.
You can only get a ticket that easily when the train route is not that popular and not many people travel between that route. And this is very very rare in India.
Just try to get a tatkal ticket between Nagpur and Pune near any festive season and then talk to me.
Just a bigger budget doesn't guarantee you a good service.

There are multiple Pakistani people in this very comment section writing about how it is IMPOSSIBLE to get tickets for AC compartments in this train unless you are an Officer in the Pak Army. If these comments are to be taken into account, forget the Tatkal system, even the normal reservation system will be great compared to this one. Because a normal Pakistani dude can NEVER get reservation in these "Green Line" trains.
Indians are the most creative bunch when it comes to $hitting on their own nation. Seems to be the favourite passtime. Indians don't believe verifiable facts from their own government, yet will believe any propaganda guided tour from the enemy. Suit yourself. If you had the brains to understand the ground reality, you wouldn't be here talking smack about your own country.

Bloody stupid of PR not to accept cards! Quite expensive as well. You should have taken the Daewoo sleeper bus
It was quite expensive I agree and unusual for such a big transaction to not be able to accept card. It meant a 15 minute diversion to the atm as the atm at the station never works. Next time we will try the sleeper bus to compare 🚂 🚌
