That was a fantastic series of films about your trip! The scenery was epic and the weather stretched from one extreme to the other. Great filming and the route looked fantastic with some great shots of the Dolomites and the city of Verona. Thank you for posting these films and they're an inspiration.
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to hear that you enjoyed the series. The Dolomites are indeed magical, have you been? Hope you have a great week.
Ahh, the Italian Mozzies feasted upon you Betty. A bit of a battle amid the heat too. Nice of the guys to show you to the food. Looked good! Ha, needed that energy for the route change eh? What a relief that the heat abated in the mountains - missed stops have their virtue I reckon. A great fun trio. I've enjoyed it all the way. All the best. Mark
It was terrible, I need to up my bug repellant game! Any suggestions? We defiantly consumed our body weight in pasta by the end of the trip. Ali was gutted about missing the stop, I was quite relieved I didn't have to climb another hill , but don't tell him that 😊 Have a great week Mark!
Ahh... good question! We properly all have different abbreviations. From my understanding a midge is a different insect to a mosquito. They still bite you (sadly) but the midge is smaller than a mosquito. They are famous for making the Scottish summers pretty miserable if you get caught in a swarm of them! Have you got a different word for them?
I see. The midge then would be a gnat (per US English), I guess. And I think their bites are nastier. Eek. Thanks for the buzz. Saw what I did there? Andcthanks for sharing your adventures with us fingertip tourists.
Happy New Year to you too! Hope you had a great time celebrating. Ah awesome thank you! 😊 I’ll head over and give it a watch, think I’m up to Episode 8 of the Vanlife series? I’ll have a catch up session with a cuppa. Bet you have some great adventures planned this year, where you off to next?
Love this videooooo! 💯❤️.
Ah thank you!!! That’s so kind 😊

@@TheGirlGoneNomad Yeah, the medicine wasn't up to much Betty. Ah, fueled by pasta - some nice table moments. Re-the stop your secrets safe. Peace.

Hi there, we did the trip in August, last summer. Hope this helps
@@TheGirlGoneNomad thank you!
I understand the root for "mozzies". How about "midge"?
