    Nice, thanks! I feel like I also remember 기에 for "for", or 'in the context of' , something like "for living alone, this apartment is too big", or "for running in the mountains this is a good jacket"... Am I just remembering some other ending or making things up in my memory altogether?

      It can be used for that too, but only in the sense that it still means "because." I think though you might be confusing this with the ~데 form. ~하는 데.

    So does that mean that"전 지금 이야기하기에는 너무 피곤해요" is to be "전 피곤하기 때문에 이야기할 수 없어요"?

    Hi Billy, thank you for your explanation! But I want to ask a little in 2:18 저만 먹을 수 없기에 doesn't it mean 'because only me who cannot eat it (while other people can)'? But why it is translated to 'because other people have to eat it too (not only me)'? Am I missing something? Thank you in advance!!

    • @GoBillyKorean
      @GoBillyKorean  2 года назад

      Translations never can be perfect, because they're either too literal or too natural. It's rare to have both. If you understand the Korean, that's what's important.
