These are some amazing ideas! We haven’t celebrated Hispanic Heritage month at my school, but I plan on proposing some of these ideas to my principal. Thank you for being so helpful!
Good ideas to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month in school. My favorite was the "wax" museum where students dress as a person of history and tell about it. You forgot #11 Have a Hispanic Heritage Program for the school and #12 Make a Dia de Muertos altar for the school and set it up for a month #13 Have a Hispanic Heritage Carnival #14 Have students school wide dress as a character from history and #15 Have a Hispanic Heritage Food / Luncheon for the teachers and staff- Due to COVID, they could just come through, grab a plate and go eat in their classrooms. I myself like to dress as "La Llorona".
@@SrtaSpanish I am in an elementary school- the students sing in Spanish songs such as "Las Mananitas" and dance such as Jarabe Tapatio, Los Viejitos, etc Carnival are wooden games you see in Mexico, such as gigantic beabn bag toss.
I love your ideas. I will try this year with my students to do bottle buddies of famous hispanic persons and have the dispay in the library after their pesentation in class.. I will let you know how it goes. Last year we have the collaborative posters displayed in our LOTE hallway.
