It's a cultural thing in Russia to sit and clap respectfully. But I know what you mean. He definitely deserved a standing ovation.
This performance was not at a solo concert of Dimash. In his concerts there is a completely different atmosphere. 😂 I suggest Dimash`s composition "El Amor En Ti".

I really think you would love Screaming by Dimash.
They sit and listen in respect for the artist. They applaud and do whatever at the end. Not like those mad concerts where you can't hear the artist because of the jeering and clapping through the performance

4:19 this is Kremlin in Moscow, full of very important military people. They did not come there for Dimash but for official concert so they act official :) also eastern custom on such concerts is to be silent during performance and clap after it is finished
