On mine: - button for down volume started sticking then the actual button fell off short while after. Up button followed suite. - Fingerprint failed last October. But occasionally works after reset. - charging port seems to have healing factor. Two instances over the 4 yr ownership where it refused to fast charge for a few days then decided to go back to fast charging on its own. Throwing the water in port error most of the time. Finally burnt the port 2 weeks ago and was stuck with slow charging and occasional normal charging. If I forgot to charge it at night, I couldn't use the phone the next day. Then 3 days ago it finally stopped charging. Using 4 different usb c's I collected over the years yielded nada. Even burnt 2 away, so that was that. So commenced the frantic search for a replacement for my trusty g6... .... But Lo! found a micro usb to usb c dongle lying in the dark corner of my electronics grave.... I mean, drawer, and decided to burn it also for the heck of it. The stupid thing came back to life and was charging normally. Best thing is it decided to fast charge again. But I know I'm on borrowed time.
That's what I hate about LG. I have G4, G5, G6. The G4 takes 4 hours to charge. The others charge slowly 5% of the time (all bought used with no original charger). Whereas my Samsung S6 Edge has no problem accepting whatever charger you throw at it.
@@Kevin4u2c this is the reason why I stopped using LG and Huawei phones a long time ago. Volume buttons are the ones which stop functioning and super fast draining batteries on the LG and battery swelling on the Huawei phones, I finally went to Samsung, redmi and Motorola and by the way, I never got any problems with these brands. People complain about Samsung all the time but in my opinion, Samsung Galaxy phones last much more longer and it's not uncommon to see some Galaxy S2 running on Android 12 lineage os in 2022, never had swollen or super fast draining batteries on Samsung phones.
I have a G5 which is also 820 like the V20. I also have a G6 which is 821 and is more powerful in real world usage even though it has a lower antutu score.
Merry Christmas to everyone!🌲🥰
The LG G6 is still running good in 2022

You could try wireless charging if you have a compatible model.
@@Kevin4u2c Korean variant, so have kick ass 3.5mm but sadly no wireless charging.
@@uniqrock I have Verizon variant also has 3.5 mm but sadly no root

Great video. I love lg phones
I am Bangladeshi love you lg g6 phone
Just bought this phone in 2023. So far so good. Except the camera 📹 the 2015 Samsung S6 Edge camera is better than the 2017 LG G6 camera.
Yeah, in some scenarios the s6 is a bit better.
Does ur volte working...?
Honestly I'm not sure.
Great videoo😁👍
Thank you
Bro my lg g6 is 5 years old now
This or the LG V20? I have the LG V20 and still use it as a daily.
The difference is very small outside the design. I would go for the v40 to get a noticeable upgrade.

Pokemon go runs slow anyone knows a fix for it?
This is good for 2022 mobile legends games?
