I'm a Mindanaon but I haven't had the privilege and opportunity to experience and enjoy all the beauty my land has to offer but through your adventures and vlogs Kumander, I am able to appreciate it all. Thank you. God bless you. Amping.
Thank you kumander for making this video. Most of us pinoy here in Luzon have not see this part of mindanao. Most we see is bad news about mindanao. Salute to you KD! Amping!
You've done it again, kumander. Starting us with lush, green mountain roads, giving us a taste of history with the story of the two brothers, then showing us the superb craftsmanship of these blades. Truly awesome vlog. I did laugh a little when you said the market has rows of things you may or may not want to buy. 😂
Watching your videos is such a learning experience. You bring the history to us and to life and show us area's most of us may never get to visit. Diolch🥰🇵🇭🏴
You know kumander you could make a book already about Mindanao you experience it all hope the Filipino people should be proud of their heritage thank you for this Amping
Those were some beautiful bolos that you were looking at. Really nice carving on those more elaborate and decorative ones, too. Looks like you could lose yourself in the Cotabato market while enjoying all the wonderful things that were there for sale. I think that one ate took a liking to you. Seemed like she was following you to give you Maguindanaoan lessons. Who knows? Maybe she has a daughter she was looking to introduce you to.😂
Am from northeastern Luzon but frequented Mindanao in the 80s and loved it. The people there Tausog, Maranao, Belaan, Bagobo, etc. are very nice people. They are Pilipino like the indiginous people in the north. We are all Pilipinos, brown malay race mixed with other race throughout history. All descendant of Lapu lapu and Diego Silang, a maharlikan race.
Thank you sir for wonderful vlogs and thank you for sharing your adventures and thank you for showing more of this country in such positive ways! God Bless!!
Love this vlog so much! Thank you for featuring Cotabato City. Really would like to go there someday. Didn’t know that it gets cold down there in Cotabato area. And I’m impressed that you managed to get down to the falls in those slippers! 😳😂 The food in the south looks delicious. Mama Ping’s noodles look good. Take care and God bless. 🥰
Watching your video is learning experience , is feeling you’re watching documentary film movie, thank you very for always making great video . Stay safe always.
Yum, bugs! Powerful waterfall, makes it's own wind storm! What a huge market--if you can't find what you need there, you probably don't need it... except perhaps, a parking spot. 😅 Mama Ping's food looks great. Sure beats bugs! What a beautiful area. Good to see you're surviving the deluge of rain and flooding. Stay safe.
Minda is magnificent , each of the 3 has her own beauty ,called for short LUZVIMINDA ( LUZ = Luzon , VI = Visayas , Minda = Mindanao ) . But its only now that Minda's beauty is explored and showcased to the world. And Im loving it, a real treasure.
Hopefully u can visit us in Lanao del sur especially here in marawi. U learn the culture of Maranao. Never been conquered by 3 colonizer. Spain, American & Japan.
We remember Martin and Gracie Burnham; Held hostage for 376 days by an Islamic terrorist group in the Philippines, Gracia Burnham doesn't tire of recounting the time she and her husband spent in the Mindanao jungle with their kidnappers. It was the last year of her husband's life, as he perished from three gunshot wounds to his chest. We would all like to believe the Islamic people of this region have turned from war to peace, but the military presence reveals the truth. Many would like to see peace and progress, but hidden away in the deep jungles remain dark hearts, patiently waiting....... I thank you Kumander, for showing the beauty of this region and its culture. RUclips videos are still the only safe way for westerners to visit.

Im sorry if this may seem like a political comment but I would never really accept for Mindanao to be not part of the Philippines, we may not know much of most of them but they are Filipinos with their own unique culture and they are part of what the Philippines is.
Because of frustration of presendent duterty thats how he figth for marcos stands for they people of pilipino not for politiczl so that no body attack his admimistration

Pag humiwalay Mindanao, magmamahal ang presyo ng mga blilihin. Both parts of the country apektado.
I've been trying to find Maguindanaon kris for so long, Tausug ones are easy to find, Maranao were scant, but Maguindanaon are more rare.

Mindanao the most diverse part of the Philippines.
From different Moro tribes and none muslim tribes.
Bisaya, ilonggo, Tagalog, waray and Ilocano.
Taste like chicken! 😂
The area looks severely deforested.

British :)
