How come so many rap artist don't use the same voice they record with when they perform live. This is not even close to how the recorded version sounds. I mean , I get that it's not studio and the band is trying to represent. .. but why not come close to how you sound when you are relaxed and making the recorded hit?
Yea, I don't like how it sounds either, I feel like 5ft is ruining it a bit with his unrhythmic yelling, I wish Buckshot performed on his own. Enta da stage is one of my favourite records, but this sounds far from it. I wonder what their new record will sound like.
Most black music is mixed by white audio engineer's. This cultural difference between who creates the music, and who manipulates the music on the Equilizer creates the difference between what you hear on the record, and what you hear live.
Likewise, even so called "live" performances like this one can be mixed incorrectly by white sound engineers. If you listen carefully, the audio engineer does not understand how to create more BASS sound, and is highlighting the Treble sound, instead. This disconnect does not vibrate, resonate deeply, nor activate EU-melanin, as the great Jimi Hendrix stated, "they separate the Earth from the Sky."
