I do like to hear the infantry callouts in different languages. Often it’s a sure sign an enemy is nearby that you may not have noticed otherwise. And it can make the process of hunting rats that are burrowed into your flags less tedious. I’m not much of a vehicle player though.

its pretty stupid, imo for the sake of balancing, I think DICE should take some balancing and creative liberties to make the game a bit more even. Like, for example, adding the F22 instead of the F35 for a more comparable size and role as the other 2 (since the Su57 isnt really the counterpart to the F35 as much as it qas to the F22, and ik its not really in the USAF anymore) or like ghosting and/or expanding some vehicle parts and POVs as a balancing compromise.
That doesn’t necessarily make it better though. It hurts situational awareness near the rear of the tank. Also the upside can be ignored by the other IFV with proper positioning.

It mostly worked and was immersive as i.e Tiger is very powerful but slow and not very good against infantry. Shermans are fast and all rounders but usually fail facing 1v1 Tiger. On the other hand US has superior anti tank plane, but inferior fighter plane

Another reason the q5 is the best attack jet is because of its canopy. You can see more compared to the a10 and su25. The only advantage the j20 has is also its canopy is able to see much easier compared to the other two. Also he forgot to mention with the lavad you can travel on water much easier compared to the tunguska and type 95 aa
I also remember that the Russian heli Ka-60 is extremely easy to get tipped over due to having a narrow body and wheels, and sometimes you are in a tight spot that it cannot be brought back into flight.

You forgot to mention that the M1A2 has the best Gun depression facing forward tho, in a map with terrain and medium hills the M1 will always get the first shot off because its has -10° while the Chinese and Russain MBT sit at ~6°
I think that those vehicles where balanced, or "fair", the science was that you had to learn how to use every vehicle, but finally all were balanced, even Tunguska 😅
I agree the explanation and demonstration wasnt perfect so I'll explain. During normal flight, the rotorblades as a circle are a full hitbox for the venom and haitun transport helicopters, but not for the kasatka. This makes the hittable area of the kasatka about 1/3rd of the other two from all angles. If you are in one of the other two helicoters, you can reduce this hitbox by constantly seatswitching into and out of the pilot seat when someone is shooting at you to disable the additional hitbox for the time it takes the rotor blades to spin up visually.
Okay, quick question... how in 9 circles of hell do you get an LAV-AD on Shanghai of all places? Custom server or black magic? I have NEVER seen that. I remember Shanghai had an AC130 that was removed in the CTE version but not an AA. Also recommend to officialy nickname the Mi-28 the "Lead coffin" with its god awful weight and poor manueverability.

Were these custom faction swap plugins just a BF4 thing? Wouldve been neat to, say, have the Americans on Amiens in BF1 for instance. Or British vs Japanese on the solomon islands in BFV

Any tank you hit in the rear is going to be a crit because you're hitting the engine and transmission which is actually quite realistic. I killed many tanks as both a Engineer with a rocket launcher and a tank by going for rear shots.
Bf players take attention to detail for granted and they should be lucky that the bf games continue to do so. Instead they whine about attention to detail for the wrong reasons and ignore it where it's been added or remains. Then devs put attention on nuanced parts of the game and get rid of innovative additions to the game or scratch innovations they could offer. For players that play the same loadout each game and that only care about meta or for one to exist. Even between vehicles. When all aspects and ever-changing details make BF what it is.
Every single vehicle needs a nerf. There is absolutely no reason a tank should be able to go faster than a tesla at a drop of a dime, take 3 C4 to destroy it, repairs fully in 5 seconds AND has 3rd person view. Not to mention infrared, zoom optics, smoke screens, shields, etc..... like wtf? I'm all for tanks being able to take a hit, but when combined with super speed and aim sensitivity, it's just not fun. I shouldn't have to be one of the best, sneakiest, quickest, and most thought out player in the game to even have a CHANCE at destroying one. It's insanely stupid. And they all have unlimited ammo. Really hope in BF6 they tone it down a bit. Once any random gets in a vehicle, they think they are the6 best battlefields ever seen, but in reality, they've just taken more damage than any tank in the history of mankind and are still rolling away at 60km/h....
funny that if the game was more realistic the MI-28 should be the best helicopter and the T-90A and ZTZ99 should be much worse than the abrams (both have terrible reverse speed in real life and much worse turret traverse)
Agreed but if we going that route the abrams should be a 4 seater in order to compensate for long reload times unlike the T-90 and Type-99 that have autoloaders. Also both the Abrams and T-90 should have Reactive Armor plating like IRL and different. All 3 tanks should have smoke canisters ready and available for discharge without swapping for Active protection. shells that can be switched between.

I would so much rather have different stats for different faction vehicles than not. Having factions just be clones of one-another in every way except visuals is just, boring in a game like Battlefield. There's no subtly or nuance to the factions without some variance in gameplay styles. We already have soldiers with clone equipment, why make the vehicles just as boring?
Sorry, chief, this video just ain't it. I don't like how the J20 has a bigger silhouette than other stealth jets, but mirror-match servers are destroying every bit of immersion, being the absolute worst. Not to mention it causes a nightmare for the infantry players who can get confused from enemy lines and walk into a trap.
@@DANNYonPC Not on hardcore servers, though. And even if it's a normal server, most players will follow audio clues, it's somewhat more intuitive than to look at the minimap and see if friendlies or enemies are near.

Doesn’t even matter for comp because they always play 2 rounds of the map. If anything it makes things more interesting and nuanced.
The b1 system works good. Otherwise rounds need to have faction changing or the map be specific to each and asymetrical.

I think the AA was in the beta of BF4 but got removed due to "balance" reasons. Now helis reign supreme on that map.

Only worked with in game factions. Cant pull factions out of thin air especially from games that came out LATER. A plug in isnt a straight up mod.
I play hardcore only at this point and the biggest difference that I notice is the visibility with Chinese aircraft

I always did do better in the T-90. The abrams seemed so sluggish and it massive in comparison.

Having factions just be clones of one-another in every way except visuals is just, boring in a game like Battlefield. There's no subtly or nuance to the factions without some variance in gameplay styles. We already have soldiers with clone equipment, why make the vehicles just as boring?

I don't like how the J20 has a bigger silhouette than other stealth jets, but mirror-match servers are destroying every bit of immersion, being the absolute worst.
Not to mention it causes a nightmare for the infantry players who can get confused from enemy lines and walk into a trap.

Not on hardcore servers, though.
And even if it's a normal server, most players will follow audio clues, it's somewhat more intuitive than to look at the minimap and see if friendlies or enemies are near.
