I love this Mashaallah I find you so funny and just so honest alhamdulilah. I am 29 and can't have kids I would be so hurt if my husband told me I'm marrying another women because you are barren . Alhamdulilah I no that's his right and he deserves children but it shouldn't be THE reason if I'm making sense and there's ways of saying it and doing it . Don't make a women feel as if the reason of your marrying is a defect from the wife . Men can be so disloyal these days and just have no wisdom in there speech

Walahi m3n think our money is their money and we must also take on the responsibilities of which Allah has given them ! If they want that then maybe those kind of men need to move in with their homeboys and let a responsible man come and make it easy for her. But if she gives out of her wealth then Alhamduilliah thats is the mercy of Allah upon the man. So say Alhamduilliah!

Imam ash Shafii is of the opinion that is not encouraged and he even said when he was asked that it is not needed in their time, and most scholars such ibn qudamah, imam ash shafii, an nawawi and others prefer for a man to have one wife because of the fear of Allah he might be unjust
we dont claim for it to be haram but we must know that the Quran is the only religious book to say if u cannot be just, marry only one
also the scholars the very great scholars of the past may Allah have mercy on their souls and not only them every single non muslim scholar and historian that has studied the prophet pbuh life themselves have defended the prophet pbuh, i understand u akhi but explaining does not mean being apologetic, also the prophet pbuh was offered the most beautiful women why’d he wanna spend his youth with an elderly woman already with 3 children? and lets not forget ummul mumineen served our deen they were an order from Allah for the prophet pbuh to marry them, also older women who have been previously married expect Aisha ra
ibn hajar and many scholars say that a woman can put in her marriage contract that if she doesnt want him to get a 2nd wife
akhi fear Allah! the way u talk can drive people away

This tittle got me to listen to it so quickly 😆 Subhanallah
I have a brother, who’s been married for over 20 years with 5 kids, all boys
Alhamdulillah the wife is blessed in her business and really supportive of the family. Now, he wants a second wife without a financial support especially during this time where we all want the best for our kids. When asked why he wants a second wife? His response? “I need to show that I am a man, that’s the only way people will know that am a complete man” Subhanallah
    Any advice?

Well its sunnah to marry multiple wives, therefore hes right to refer it to being a man. Following the sunnah is being more of a man but he should be able to fulfill his duties to both wives

You can't just say "its just that simple". how do you deal with women's feelings? don't men think of that? Don't men think of the mental consequences the woman suffers from taking a second wife? do you really think that Allah swt would like to hurt a woman and that Allah has privileged the man to do so? men are guards for the women both physically and mentally. our prophet pbuh was the best to his wives. in this time of our lives most men dont know how to handle 1 woman. It would be better to give a lecture on how to deal with women. instead of saying that it is just simple and that Allah has therefore privileged the man. for every subject in the Quran there is also a beautiful reason. Allah swt knows best

SubhanAllah, how people can seek knowledge and learn something and then interpret it in vastly different ways. As a practicing Muslim who has done a lot of research and has looked into the interpretations of many other scholars, I have to say this person lacks the nuance and wisdom required to understand the deen. One example that makes this clear is in his over simplification of the Qawwamun verse in the Quran. If you're watching this and have many questions and this doesn't sit right in your heart, don't worry. Move along and search elsewhere. This person has a lot more learning to do. May Allah guide this person to wisdom, purify his heart, and bring him closer to Allah, and may Allah do the same for all of us.

    • @cidsignor6047
      @cidsignor6047 3 года назад +12

what I read in your comment is very bizarre in my opinion. Firstly you said 《as a practicing Muslim, who has done tons of research ...》, I do not find it appropriate that you say these things, the things involved in your sentence, suggest that you have some authority, because you are practicing and you did a lot of research. Understand that you have no authority in saying this, and that it does not give you any credit. Second, you present his opinion by being vague, and I can tell you that your comment is more vague, so vague that you do not give any reference, nor cite any authority having religious value. Finally, to say that this person lacks in wisdom and knowledge on the subject, makes you someone very presumptuous, because you need wisdom and knowledge more than him, and it is not because you have made internet or Wikipedia searches, that you should think you are above him

    • @yr18506

@@cidsignor6047 So.... it's not appropriate to say that I have done research? Also it's quite a leap to assume that I'm claiming to be an authority lol, how did you arrive at this conclusion? And then making more assumptions that the extent of my research was just some wikipedia readings? Where is your logic in this conclusion as well?
Is it not incumbent on us as Muslims to seek truth and particularly to seek out righteous and knowledgeable scholars for information? This is a type of research, is it not?
I am intentionally vague, and there's nothing wrong with that. I chose to be vague because I'm not here to debate and offer rebuttals, and I'm not a scholar. I'm here to say that other scholars would offer more nuanced perspectives on this matter, while inviting viewers to continue researching the opinions of other scholars.
Finally, you make the assumption that I think I'm above this person. You're making a negative assumption of me and my intentions as your sister in Islam, which the Quran commands us not to do (49:12) so please don't claim that I have some type of arrogance simply because I don't think this perspective offers wisdom and nuance.
One can identify wisdom without claiming to be the most wise. This is how we look for good quality teachers. Not because we assume we're better than them but because we generally have an ability to discern between who is speaking with wisdom and who isn't. Wallahu a'lam.
