If you don' t show the unit working or assambled again, the video is not useful and looks like a fake. And putting certain parts in water, capacitors and so on ? Dangerous, a real nosense.
It won't work. It's common sense. This types of restoration is for pleasure only.

I am going to change my reality paradigm if you can get this unit working again! Seriously, in my current paradigm, any attempt to restore a unit of this complexity, that is this damaged, is insane.

If this was real, and it’s not !! there is no way in hell that that VHS camera recorder would ever function again ever, good magic trick !
Some part of it might work electronically, but hell no the video head drum and the optical assembly. The optical assembly might be fixable with a complete teardown, cleaning and re-lube, but the head drum is trash. Bearings seized, rotary transformer rotten, most probably the windings on the head cores also rotten, and the surface of the drum is inadequate for any tape contact due to excess corrosion. I mean, this camera might be fixable, if we were in 2100 and this was the last existing VHS camera on Earth, and a team of electro-archeologists really want to restore it... But nowadays, just pick one up from the local flea market for $25 (includind accessories), and repair it. Because any of these will need a repair at this point, even if it was stored in a clean, climate controlled room.
I would keep the cute CRT viewfinder, and the lens if I found a camera on the street in a condition similar to this. And I would definitely pay a lot of attention to the cassette in it, to find out what's on it.

It doesn't have to look like a hidden treasure due to long-standing erosion. If it's covered with soil like that, people misunderstand it as a medicine for movie props. Go to the local garbage dump and see if the broken TV looks like that, but the objects in the video are as dirty as the chemical treatment used in the movie.
If you shake it off with a brush when it's that dirty, bolts and Batteri electronic components are clean.So, when you film a video like this, go to a local garbage dump. Don't make it so obvious that it's fake.

Этот аппарат работать они не заставят, это не цифра. Потому и видео не до конца. Приходилось чинить и настраивать видеоблоки, головки там тонкие - как иголочки, и даже пыль их может повредить, не говоря уж про песок и ржавчину. Сырость тоже = смерть. Высокоточные подшипники. VHS вообще очень хрупкая и капризная технология.
Та не восстановит он электронику после такого состояния, там куча сгнивших smd компонентов будет. А механика там тонкая, та же видеоголовка. Так, внешний вид в марафет привести, типа муляж будет.

After they reassemble all the parts, the whole machine can operate normally. This is totally illogical and incredible.

Он не смог собрать обратно😂 да оно и понятно там уже всё дохлое. У меня несколько таких камер они правильно хранились считай новые но со временем смазка высохла в блоке головок-шумит вс три и шестерня зума у одной навернулась. Если мыть в тазике то это пипец всему😂 она никого не заработает там очень точная механика и электроника!

Its getting a bit boring now: In a number of these Asian restoration videos, the items to be restored are always found discarded in a field. Electronic equipment and bicycles. And somebody is always conveniently there to film you walking around the field. It has become totally unbelievable.
I wish I lived near a field that had discarded motorcycles and electronic equipment. I'd make a killing taking them to someone who could clean them and fix them up like brand new. 😎

автору респект за его труд безценый, ну допусим помыл платы в воде, пропаял контакты, ну ладно хрен сними высохнуть, Но там куча закрытых електронных блоков моторчики, механические реле, головка записи, видео матрица, там много индуктивных катушех после долгих годов на улице у них стержень просто розсыпаетса (я знаю што пишу 10 лет занимаюсь микроелектроникой) автор ты и так как для меня а для всех остаёшся лутшим, собери корпус и пусть будет как макет и всё...

скорее всего обратная съёмка, сначала работает, а потом засрали. У них на разных аппаратах, в разных роликах глина одного цвета... И лужа из которой вытаскивают, стандартная.
