@@DOMINICAAVIATION I flew into DCF on the Twin otter. Didn't have to be so low like on the KIng Air as we approached so slow and landed so short. I joined Liat in 83, moved to left seat in 86. Landing DCF was always exciting. In those days only one taxiway by the terminal. I would touch down from the N, turn straight in and shut down...The liat agents would come running out a few mins later "Skip we don't hear when you land man"...think it was 6 month straight never passed the taxiway.
The pilot maintained good airspeed until the flare but wind sheer can spoil your day when those hurricane resistant concrete dwellings are rushing past a few feet below.
