Don’t think Lewis considers that haaland has two men marking him most games where Isak isn’t - it’s easier to do what Isak does when your not man marked by two men all game - and haaland presence makes space for others which again Lewis doesn’t consider as it doesn’t fit his narrative for Isak being better
Isak is also capable of dropping deeper into space, picking up the ball and carrying it forward to create as well. Haaland can’t, but we don’t consider that important because he sometimes finishes 3 of the 5000 chances he gets per game.

he is not man marked at all. Haaland game plays off the 2 defenders because the lack of technical ability on the ball and the players around him play all the passes he needs. A ball in behind for him to have a 1 on 1 or a simple back or front post run is mostly what haaland does to the best level. Isak overall game is miles better and he is extremely clinical too. Isak would score the majority of goals haaland has and i couldnt see haaland doing the same for newcastle as he does for city. Haaland is incredible but isak is too.

Those stats can be affected by volume, 1 in 4 is 25% 1 in 3 is 33% it's literally the difference of scoring a goal one shot sooner on average. It's really not that much

Haaland has 20 goals (according to the conversion - 80 shots), Isak has 17 (51 shots estimated) that's 31 shots difference, so scoring less goals with a better conversion rate doesn't equal better output, it means that Haaland is getting into shot taking chances more often than Isak. If you take into account xG, it tells an even more tangled tale.

As others have said, Isak is a better player but Haaland is a better goal scorer. Haaland has supply from pretty much the best players in the league. Whilst there are good players at Newcastle, Isak has Longstaff, Anderson, Miggy, Murphy, etc. around him. Bruno, Barnes and Gordon are quality but there are some average players supplying him.

They keep talking about conversion rate but can't see that Isak, playing in a worse team, doesn't have as much of the ball and therefore all of their goals are in better positions. To prove this, isak has a career xg of 62.23 and scored only 59 goals whereas haaland has a career xg of 107.56 and scored 118 goals. Haaland is the only one outperforming his xg.
Look Isak is brilliant i really like him he can run dribble shoot and actually take on a man but Haaland did score 40/50 gaols twice at Dortmund to earn himself a big move he didn't just spawn at City and sit in the box scoring goals. Haaland has been poor outside his goal scoring this season though
