The PolyJet process is very similar to the classic inkjet process. The material is printed in layers through multiple print heads with very narrow nozzles and then cured under UV lamps. In contrast to PolyJet, MultiJet involves the simultaneous use of different materials.
With different material mixtures, varying degrees of hardness from rubbery to hard can be achieved. The materials used are always photopolymers based on acrylic resins.

The starting materials in this process are liquid acrylic polymers, yes. You can find out more about it here: www.protiq.com/en/3d-printing/processes/polyjet-multijet-modeling/
