I really appreciated Mai's reaction, but was very surprised by Jiyoon's reaction. Both of them were equally disappointed but showed opposite attitudes.

@@user-lr2hh3bv1nyou can be selfish in the sense where you should promote yourself but not to the point where it’s hindering a practice. I thought that jiyoon’s response was very valid but her actions after the parts were finalized were not.
It honestly just became poison on her end by not having people vote for her within the group, and I doubt they will continue to do so if she doesn’t at least show a bit of professionalism. I’m sure that there were other contestants other than mai who also wanted a different part but they didn’t show it as much

i love mai so much... when i saw her in drama it wasn't really my cup of tea but her 3 seconds in final love song and her attitude i just love it and shes a good performer i hope she makes it she reminds me so much of yeji from itzy
Mai showed that she has talent and attitude, thanks to that, even though her part was small, she shined. ⭐
I think Jiyoon is good, but her attitude is horrible, since she not only do it that during rehearsals, also when she went to Ground she didn't even want to say goodbye to the others. I know that it can be frustrating and even more so with her age, but this attitude shows that she is not prepared to work in a group, because unfortunately she is often not going to have the part or the center time that she wants.

I understand that jiyoon was frustrated about not getting the parts she wanted but she was an absolute wet blanket throughout the half the practice. She was dragging the whole team down. It would’ve been nice if she sucked it up like mai did (what an absolute trooper) and focused on doing the best on her part. Even Mai got recognition from the judges despite having a 3 second long line. I just don’t think that it’s reasonable to be throwing a tantrum when there are others who didn’t get the parts they wanted too but are still trying their best. It’s lowkey embarrassing too that she’s being so difficult about one thing meanwhile a 16 yo jungeun has to put up with handling 12 girls AND console her
True but Jiyoon was pointed out during interim evaluation but she still didnt give up...i like the attitude of not giving up....but to sulk when not getting the part she wanted was immature....she was supposed to prive herself when she was given main vocal position

맞아요~ 춤추고 노래하는 것 보다, 최선의 선택을 하면서도 사람들 서운하지 않게 파트 나눠주는게 사실 너무 어려운 일이지! 어느 누군가는 반드시 불만있고 서운하고 그런 감정을 느낄텐데 정은이도 이런 부분에 맘고생 하는게 육체적 고단함 보다 더 힘든일이였지...

people who are saying that jiyoon is annoying and rude, im so annoyed at u guys. mai's part wasn't changed much it went from part 11 to 12 but jiyoon went from main vocal to applying for center and then part 10 and she never dropping from the highest parts to the lowest. i could be pissed and angry if i were jiyoon too. this is late but i think jungeun shouldve given jiyoon a higher part because jiyoon's vocal is so unique and she could've pulled off main vocal. shes obviously not perfect during the internim check which i think the judges were unfair then becuase they expect them to be perfect then which is dumb

My 2 cents on the Jiyoon has an "attitude problem" narrative.
I think it's natural to feel disheartened and disappointed when she kept getting her desired parts passed down to others despite her being one of the best vocalists on the show.
Later on she apologized for her lack of enthusiasm during practice, and she worked hard to slay her part and she did and got a good score from the judges.
But despite having a high score and performing better than many others on her team, none of the other contestants voted for her simply because she had a moment of weakness. Then these girls had the audacity to come console her and pretend to be sorry for her when not a single person voted for her? Excuse me but that's kinda fake you can't be the party who causes pain and consoles at the same time. Jiyoon's reaction was natural and human and I see a lot people judging her for being human. Kpop stans are just so used to smiley, forever-happy, fake idols that when they see an idol express any genuine negative emotion they call it having an "attitude", no wonder why many idols get depression & commit the S word...
+ Also when Jiyoon laughed, She wasn't mocking Fuko like many accused her of. Her laughter was directed towards the whole situation. These girls where consoling a crying Fuko, telling her it's gonna be alright when they were the reason for her getting kicked out from I-land for simply being sick, and not "managing her health" they literally punished her for being sick which is something out of her control (despite her being sick she still performed much better than some people on her team in my opinion but I'm not gonna mention who).
Anyways, Jiyoon redemption arc incoming soon wait for it.
