Karen and I left Fethiye to spend a few days in Çeşme to complete our holiday in Turkey. I absolutely love this little town. We went to a beach club, ate lots of great food, drank wine and we had a joint Kitesurfing lesson too in Alaçati.
This video was filmed in June 2023.

FAQ's
How do you afford to travel? - I now earn a full time living through creating these RUclips videos, affiliate links, selling digital products and my clothing line. I used to simply just work any temporary job I could find to save up to travel! I budget the money I earn meticulously to reach my savings goals using www.backpackingbananas.com/pr...
Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

Hello Christianne! I found your channel while researching for my monthlong trip to Thailand in October and quickly found myself binging on all the cool places and fun experiences you had. Your videos are so full of happiness, kindness and adventure! I am so excited for my trip because of your advice in videos. Thank you so much and please keep the fun adventures coming!
Aww my pleasure ❤️ I’m so glad you enjoy the vids xxx
I loooove your and Karen’s dynamic 😍 always nice to watch you two together 🫶🏼
Welcome to turkey....this is pradise....
I visited Turkey last year for our TV show and just like you, I had fun, too. Their sun-kissed sands and crystal-clear waters totally compete for the title of 'Best Supporting Cast' in my vacation photos. It's like the country whispered to the beaches, 'You can't just be stunning - you have to be historically significant too!'. I feel like I can't wait till you visit Cappadocia and Istanbul as well.
I kept coming back because I love your attitude and joy! Thanks for being such a role model in spreading joy!
I love Çeşme, we visited it summer of 2021, always Çeşme will have a special place in our hearts.
Ooh kite surfing looks like so much fun! Cesme looks stunning ☺️
I was the mysterious tiktok commenter! I have a long dress in the same print and am obsessed with it ❤
Keep sharing videos in turkey , it’s amazing 🙏❤️
What a beautiful nation with a rich history. I very much want to go myself someday.
Kitesurfing looks so fun - I just might have to give it a go some time!
Welcome to Turkey Christianne!! I love your videos 🎉
I remember the comments of that video 2ish years ago. Now I see nothing but positive comments. Great job!
Great video, wonderful Christie!!! 💖 Looks like a beautiful part of the world.
Thanks Sean! Deffo one of my fave spots in Turkey
Looked a fun vlog
always enjoy your vlogs!!
Thank you 🥰🥰
I really enjoyed these Turkey videos.
Thank you! 🥰🥰
Beautiful Çeşme! I took a trip to Turkey last year inspired by your previous Turkey vlogs and ended up taking the ferry to Chios as well :D then moving to Tessaloniki. Enjoy your travels!
Tessaloniki was a turkish citu before world war 1. Why not moved to izmir? 😊
Because I was in Izmir already on the same trip so why to take a trip back instead of going to a new place :)
Cheshme is correct! I lived there for a while :)
🥳🥳
when i tell you this is gonna be me as soon as i finish my alevels
You remind me so much of Skylar from good will hunting
❤❤❤

Love a Christi series in the med 💚
Me too 😅🥰🥰🥰
Bring Nanga Parbat Pakistan videos soon 💚
The olive challenge worked for me. Love your necklace. Hope you don’t mind me asking where you got it? BBT x
I wish it worked for me 😅🥲 I think I just got it from Lovisa in the UK
Did you say you had kite surfed in Egypt? I love your videos and I'm planning a trip to Egypt & Jordan. I couldn't find any videos you'd made on Egypt, did you vlog them at all? I'd love to watch 😍
Àmalfi coast still wait for you 😉😉😜🌞
Would love to visit one day!
Hello
How you doing
Long time since I watched you👋👌
I was told grilled olives are the gateway olive and that is simply not true 😂
Grilled olives just really don’t sound like my idea of a nice time 😂😂
Hey Christianne! I love your channel, which inspired and give me confidence for my first backpacking trip back in 2019. I had the time of my life!
I’m now planning on going back to Thailand and possibly elsewhere in SE Asia in January 2024 to travel and work - now that I am a freelancer, I have decided to give the digital nomad lifestyle a try! I’m aware that working abroad is going to be very different from backpacking so I wondered if you had any advice on how to make friends/ meet people and generally stay connected to people when working in another country. I know that I can travel capably, but I am a bit apprehensive about loneliness and burnout. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you 🎒🍌😊
TEL AVIV?
Turkish currency got hit hard
What were the nights and night life like? Is there a video to come..
Sadly no more videos on Cesme, we didn’t really go out partying so I can’t comment too much on that!
@@BackpackingBananas thanks for the reply, safe travels ❤️
Btw Alaçatı so expensive compared to Çeşme, and it's a deferent place. it's not fair to but Alaçatı within this video i have to say haha
Why is it not fair to have it in the same video? 😂
@@BackpackingBananas Because Alaçatı. more expensive and louder than Alaçatı, that's it.
When i read the title i thought it's going to be only about Çeşme.
But we really enjoyed your trip and how tou share your experiences with us 🤍
nice video! I've just published a video about some wonderful places to visit in turkey :)
Ive been solo traveling for 1 month and still havent made any friends whatsoever, think im guna have to stay in a hostel even though i really dont want to
I promise they’re not as bad as you’re probably imagining 😅
Hostels are how I made friends when I traveled by myself. I made friends everywhere except Iceland because my travel plans weren't as conducive for making friends there. I was on the go all the time. But honestly, hostels are amazing, especially on a budget. I hope you have a wonderful experience so you don't feel so negatively toward them in the future.
