When you are done drafting, the only allowance you are adding is one inch as your sewing allowance, yes there will be shortage, remember we are trying to snatch the waist

Nice tutorial ma but am confuse with the back neck line and sloping method. It's different from the front. It looks like you came down by 1" from the starting line before marking ur neck dept,, then sloped the shoulders by 1.5" . Pls kindly explain the back neck line and slopping. Thanks
Is the same thing with the front it looks different because I did not start drafting the back pattern from the same guild line as the front , hope this helps?

Dear Lilian, I used this method and my armhole came out very wide. My round armhole is 19 but I ended up having 23. My round bust is 39 and front arc is 21. Please is there a way to correct anything I did?

I said that 1" is not compulsory, from my calculations i was supposed to use 0.7 but I used 1" because it turns out fine when I use it, that doesn't mean it will work for everyone. Nice one, please When you reduced the size dart or bust dart, won't it affect the front lenght? That is, it will shorten the front lenght, thereby unable to align properly with the back lenght when joing them together. Please reply

I don't understand your question, but if you are talking about the 9.3 i measured on the hip line, I minus my back arch ( half of my back hip circumference) from my round hip circumference then divided what i had left by 2 , the 16 inches i mentioned there was just example. Let me know if you still don't get it 🤝❤️
Am stack on the front pattern, after subtracting the back arc from the the hip circumference , I got 16, should I divide this by 2 because if I mark this on just one side of the front, when I open the fold i will have 32 inch, when I add what I wil l have on the back it totals up to 56 inches, yet my normal hip circumference is only 42, am just pazzled
Check your calculations, what did you use at the front because front and back arc is your round hip circumference just that, you make the smaller share at the back and the bigger one at the back to know that what you are doing is correct plus it together if it gives you your exact round hip circumference then you are on the right side

4" difference for a Burst size of 41 is too much, how did you take the measurement, if you can retake it let me give you tip's, tell her to stand straight then bend to side take a bias and tie it round the point there is deepness or curve then measure from your front shoulder to the bias point Note it down and also measure your back shoulder to the bias point ☝️☝️ hope this helps, if you want a video on it DM me on Instagram @dresstofit_by_lilian i don't mind making a video for you.♥️♥️
It can only occur when you use the same measurement of front shoulder to waist at the back. Your front shoulder to waist is not the same measurement as your back shoulder to waist, sewing off the side dart reduced the length

If you don’t want to cinch, you can still use this method just replace all your dart intake allowance.

The only issue I have right now is the back arc drafting… my hip is 39 and my back arc is 19.5… Drafting a whole 18.5 hip seems very plenty

It can only occur when you use the same measurement of front shoulder to waist at the back. Your front shoulder to waist is not the same measurement as your back shoulder to waist, sewing off the side dart reduced the length

@@user-sg5kk9lf8w you are always welcome, measure your back shoulder to waist whatever it is mark it at the back pattern then measure your front shoulder to waist whatever it is mark it at the front pattern when you are done minus the length of the back from the front length whatever inches you have left is what you are going to use as your front side dart, sewing it off will make both length equal 🤝🤝❤️
