As well as the 6 inches you used for the kneel circumference and the re-dividing with 3 inches at the same kneel are all the figures you use for the dividing are they constant figure for all sizes. @@dresstofit__by__lilian so if we use this way you explained so the 1.5 is not constant for the side dart?? Like my front length is 16 and my back is 15, when I minus them is 1” remaining are you saying I should use the 1”instead of 1.5” for my side dart??or I can add it to the length so it can be equal when joining with the back??

    Hello ma, please on the hip line(front pattern) after getting that 16 inches you had, how did u divide it to get the 9.3💛

    • @dresstofit__by__lilian
      @dresstofit__by__lilian  Год назад +4

      I don't understand your question, but if you are talking about the 9.3 i measured on the hip line, I minus my back arch ( half of my back hip circumference) from my round hip circumference then divided what i had left by 2 , the 16 inches i mentioned there was just example. Let me know if you still don't get it 🤝❤️

    Am stack on the front pattern, after subtracting the back arc from the the hip circumference , I got 16, should I divide this by 2 because if I mark this on just one side of the front, when I open the fold i will have 32 inch, when I add what I wil l have on the back it totals up to 56 inches, yet my normal hip circumference is only 42, am just pazzled

    • @dresstofit__by__lilian
      @dresstofit__by__lilian  5 месяцев назад

      Check your calculations, what did you use at the front because front and back arc is your round hip circumference just that, you make the smaller share at the back and the bigger one at the back to know that what you are doing is correct plus it together if it gives you your exact round hip circumference then you are on the right side

      4" difference for a Burst size of 41 is too much, how did you take the measurement, if you can retake it let me give you tip's, tell her to stand straight then bend to side take a bias and tie it round the point there is deepness or curve then measure from your front shoulder to the bias point Note it down and also measure your back shoulder to the bias point ☝️☝️ hope this helps, if you want a video on it DM me on Instagram @dresstofit_by_lilian i don't mind making a video for you.♥️♥️

    Please what do I do now?

    • @dresstofit__by__lilian
      @dresstofit__by__lilian  Год назад +1

      It can only occur when you use the same measurement of front shoulder to waist at the back. Your front shoulder to waist is not the same measurement as your back shoulder to waist, sewing off the side dart reduced the length
