Yes, I like those, but still a pretty big body no? The reason I love the 336 is that it's quite a bit smaller and does a similar job. Thanks for watching, all the best, Simon

I think I’d like the smaller size of the 336 vs. 335. Bigger bodies guitar give me shoulder and neck problems.

Hey Rick, That's exactly the reason I got this model. Plus it sounds so great. Thanks for watching

I found the 335 impossible to get comfortable with when sitting down, either classical sitting position or on right leg. Great when standing up though.

Wonder what it would soud like in a mix...., alone, its kind of "boomy" if you know what i mean....maybe its just the amp settings.... but all in all wonderful sounding

Hey mate, thanks for watching. Thinking back yes I had the bass up as it was just me. I've used the in heaps of band situations and it's been great. It's got such variety and it so pretty! All the best, Simon

Cool video - thanks for sharing, never heard of a 336 before. Thought the small version of the 335 was a 339? I have a 355 that I absolutely love!!

Hey Harry, Thanks for watching. Yeah the 339 is an ES version I think? This one is a CS336. All the best, Simon

My Black& cream trim Epip 335 lets me have a Roy Orbison / B.B. King look. For under $500 U.S. , wood is wood when it comes to electric guitars. $4,500+ saved!

Sounds good, but a 335 right? They are too big for me. I disagree about the type of wood. Particularly in a hollow body guitar. This vs the Epiphone (laminate?) has a much tighter sound. Thanks for watching, all the best, Simon

@@SimonMorelguitar for the sake of debate, unless your playing acoustically, not using pickups/ not using a microphone(your using an amp). How is the wood effecting the tone? I understand size matters to you. but wood ? Can’t sell me on that. Other than cosmetics & weight. Wood is wood.

@@walterdavis2373 The difference between plywood (laminate) and maple/mahogany is pretty marked. I'm sure there are a heap of videos available on this. I found the sounds wildly different, but agree it is subjective.
