  • It is well recognized now that hydrogen can play a significant role in transitioning from high-carbon fuels to low-carbon fuels and support in global net-zero objectives. Participants from multiple sectors see new opportunities in hydrogen economy but also barriers for investment. There is substantial expectation being placed on hydrogen but very few large projects are currently at final investment decision (FID) stage.
In this context, how does one develop a comprehensive business case that meets the expectations of multiple stakeholders with diverse objectives for an accelerated investment decision? Funding agencies will be interested in the emissions reductions; financiers will be interested in bankable projects; governments will be interested in jobs creation; regulators will be interested in safe operations; end-users will be interested in affordability; and investors interested in balancing risk and reward.
This webinar by WSP discusses how an effective and comprehensive business case can be developed that meets the expectations of all stakeholders for accelerated investment decisions.
The presentation explores the frameworks, processes, tools for making a strong case for hydrogen with couple of case studies.
