I got weirdly obsessed with boat rebuilds about 6 months ago and thought I had watched just about every video out there on youtube. This content was as good as any I've seen. I think the commentary is hilarious and you have a new sub. Can't wait for more vids!
@Ed Gasket I agree. I have 12 at the moment. I like to buy project skis when I can find them for a good price. I like to get them running then give them performance upgrades before selling them. I'm mainly interested in 90s Kawasaki 650 and 750 skis.
Ed!!! Great to see ya back in action. Your channel is deserving of many more subs as your content is creative and entertaining. Don’t be scared to sell the A8 man, it’s just a car and you can always project another super car in the future.
In the future you can usually really easily tell if it's the pump or the engine by just looking at what's moving. You can see in the clip that the rubber connector is turning the crankshaft a little bit while you're actually flexing the steel shaft going to the pump.
Hi awesome work so I recently bought 1997 Kawasaki zxi 900 jerky never rode le alone started one my whole life it has choke knob What are the steps to starting it up the recent Owner serviced it it’s ready for the lake
It had muddy water in the display - did the previous owner sink it? Did you check the rest of the engine bay or just start using it after you test drove it?
growing up we always called stand up's jet skis. I guess that's because most of the stand ups were kawi's. Waverunner was reserved for anything that had a seat. Hard habit to break!
Thinking back to this project: I had NO idea what was wrong with it. I didn’t even know it was fuel injected until an hour into having it at home. I thought it had carbs! I got lucky. And that’s the honest truth. .
It was fully covered for most of that time. The last 2 years it had a bad tear in the cover. The owner bought them both brand new and then the husband died and it sat on their property since 2009. Cheers mate.
@EdgasketGarage wow.. great find ! Easy fix, too.. im jealous, lol. Im trying to get a pair rightnow 🤣 hoping mine end up being as easy of a fix as yours was
@@EdgasketGarage No worries. I’m not here to bash anyone. I thought the video was pretty entertaining and It’s good to see an older machine in such excellent shape. I read through the comments a little bit. I did not see anyone else making this statement . If they had, I would not have made mine.

That’s awesome Josh thanks for stopping by!
The same happened to me lol. On my second jet ski now
Nice. Always a good feeling when a project ski fires up for the first time.
Agree. Even better when it gets in the water and actually works. There is a special type of satisfaction when working on watercraft.

@@JetSkiBuyFixPlaySellChannel likewise! 650 was great. I had better luck with 750 sxi pro. 800 or superjet is king!
This was jam packed with accomplishments and humor. Good job!
What else is there! 🤪 Thank you J
I can tell by how you streamlined that dawn into that bottle without missing a drop that you were a lot of fun in your college aged years 😂

Gotta delete that fuel injection!
You lucky S.O.B. Great video! 👍
Thanks friend!
YESSSSSSIR
That was Epic
That looked like an easy one to fix.
That’s the youtube effect lol. A lot of head scratching off camera. Thanks for watching!
Staged. He probably inserted the rock.

I like your style very entertaining and funny .
You the man Danny thank you!
I love this video it kinda helped me fix my jet ski too
Rock in the Impeller got you down?
* Puts it in the Garage
"Alright let's take it out of the garage to clean it!"
Get on the scale (get off the scale)
fantastic video!
Hey thanks Dustin!!
owned 4 of these common on the screens !
what's the deal with those screens
Pretty clean ski for sitting 13 years and it's not a wave runner! Stick to picking up the ladies with the this is my R8 pick up line
Feel better Lenny!
@@EdgasketGarage I feel nothing! 😀
“When you gun it” and god damnnnn
its hard not to smile on the water
Man this will help with the 2 jet ski I got.
Best of luck friend

I fired her up and ran her full throttle! It was under a cover for a few years before the cover ripped and the. The rain kept it wet for a few years
Nice job , cool vid
Thanks for watching, Marti.
About how much did it cost to restore it?
Great video
Thanks Dez!
awesome vid
Cheers!
You got nice videos🙌🏻🇩🇪
Danke!
Cool that you're still replying to comments after 2 years!
Drove me nuts that he kept calling in a waverunner..... Yamaha makes the Waverunner, Kawasaki makes the jet ski.
growing up we always called stand up's jet skis. I guess that's because most of the stand ups were kawi's. Waverunner was reserved for anything that had a seat. Hard habit to break!
Jet ski and wave runner are similar to xerox copies. I call a stand up a jet ski though. And a sit on is a wave runner no matter the company.
I just bought one exactly like this for $500. Have no idea if it runs.
I hope its a simple task to get her out on the water!
bro moved it into the garage to wheel it right back out LMAO
If I remember correctly, 3 days separated those two clips lol
homie said easily fixing… Not everybody has the money to buy all the parts we need like you.
Still cheaper than buying a jetski!
@fledgezoneeglory2886 Then don’t buy something you can’t afford to fix
👍👍
Thank you!
How to find cDi I for Kawasaki 900 STX2119
at this point ebay for the single part or find an entire parts ski local to you on marketplace. Otherwise hard to find a lot of parts.
Dope video lol had me laughing
You know you can buy a hand squeeze pump so you don't have to suck to syphon 🙂
lower quality content tho lol
This was pure entertainment. Great job my freind.
Hey thanks Houston 👍🏼
You are SO lucky
Why is that?
@@EdgasketGarage there could have been so much more wrong. Enjoy your jet ski
So Ed, did ya sell this thing???
The old girl has been sold.
Hope the previous owner gets ti watch this. Fix it, instead of abandoning it next time!
They had 2, not sure what happened to the other ski.
Curious, how much did you pay for that jet ski?
I picked it up off of a woman who had left it uncovered on her property for many years. Maybe $2k? I can't remember. Too much
When your car is your whole personality 😬
I guess I sold my personality then!
Sell the r8 and use the jetski as your new daily
Sold and sold!
I hate the ski I bought lost all spark and I have no idea what it could be
Stator!
He also called it a two stroke and than put normal gas in it
Oil injection JJ
The oil mixes with the normal gas basically making its own 2 stroke oil
Yo this video is hilarious lol
Thank you my friend!
Good video but I bet you had a very good idea how to fix it before buying. Otherwise you are extremely lucky

.
87?? Shoulda put High test
I have been running that drained fuel in my lawn mower since I recorded this video
Nice video. Now how to get a title?
Although the Ski was abandoned it happen to be in the backyard of the original owner!
Next time don’t take time going to the gas station just get the same tube and put it in a car with gas and throw the other end in the Jet sky tank
I’m still using that ski fuel in my lawnmowers
Its a Jet Ski! Not a waverunner.
GUILTY.
its a jet ski
a couch is a couch.
Thats definitely not an abandoned ski.. and most definitely not 13 years neglected

Definitely sick of watching videos that they just bull$hit this is one of them..
Our condolences.
UGH, I cringe over and over every damn time you call a jet ski a waverunner.
intelligent viewers don't like stupid videos
Ok this is obviously a staged video. 👍
Not sure how to combat that claim but I’m sure it’s not worth either of our time. Thanks for watching, though!
Ed

Didn't change the crank case oil
Ain’t got no gas in it.
