Krista is as pretty as she was back in the day. I loved when Mindy and Rick were together. It would be great to have her back on The Locher Room with Phillip and Rick and Beth
I was devastated when Krista left Guiding Light. I was a fan of the Rick and Mindy storyline, however it was short lived. But it was written so sweet and tender.
I remember being around 13 when Mindy entered Guiding Light. Mindy was so cunning and manipulating, not to mention Beautiful and sassy. I remember looking up to her as a teen. I was still playing with my Barbies at 13 believe it or not!! I recall having a Barbie that I renamed Mindy and I would recreate the Guiding Light storyline using my dolls.
Alan, I would love to see some people from the late 70s Guiding Light. I know you've had Maureen Garrett and Jerry Ver Dorn on who were both on during that time. Love to see Mart Hulswit, Lenore Kasdorf, Stephen Yates, Kathleen Cullen. So many to choose from, from that time. What an amazing interview it would be to get both Michael Zaslow and Chris Bernau So sad they both died way to soon. Maybe Cindy Pickett and Lezlie Dalton. I could go on. I'm sure I missed some other fabulous actors.
I remember in soap digest someone said mindys wedding bouquet was bigger than his shield it was hysterical. I loved both Krista and Kimberly Simms as Mindy.
Dear Alan, I 'm just watching this now sorry I missed when it was live .Krista &Mark haven't changed a bit .That was a gorgeous wedding definitely one for the books .Thank you again, Alan for these outstanding chats .Stay safe .Roselle
Alan, another winner. Didn’t watch GL during this time but wanted to see this reunion and was enthralled from start to finish. Good souls in Krista and Mark. Genuine people. Great memories and interesting to see where life leads. I love the sessions where it’s 2-3 people. You get more in-depth and less talking over each other. To answer your question, I think Brian Starcher played Hank on ATWT.
My favorites. I remember when they were getting married and on that day things got mixed up and another wedding was booked at the same time and Mindy was about to fight the girl lol until vanessa stopped her and told her you are not getting into a fist fight on your wedding day
Alan. Thank you for reading my post to Mark. I would love to send a letter to him. I met him at the Balloon and Spiedifest ( pronounced speed e fest) here in upstate NY, about 1 hour from my hometown of Oneonta (pronounced O ne on ta) which is about 30 minutes from Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall ⚾️f Fame!!! Thanks🙂 .
Was an older teenager when the storyline with Krista and the others started in the 80s. Krista absolutely is energetic and mesmerizing and has a hypnotic quality you cannot help but be drawn to her. And at the time those characters were also close to my age and it was through them that I got to vicariously enjoy what it would be like to have a close-knit group of friends as I grew up in a very rural area and did not have that. There were no cul-de-sacs or neighborhoods where I grew up. Was in the country on a cornfield and it was very cathartic to see the camaraderie and the loyalty among these characters on Guiding Light. It wasn't until my mid-twenties that I got to experience those types of relationships . Jokingly refer to those years as my Arrested Development lol but at least it finally happened but until then The Guiding Light and these Fierce characters and the close friendships they shared were the blueprint for what my experience later in life would be
I’m just sitting here with my jaw on the floor at Krista. I’m 13 again with a raging crush. I named a cat “Melinda Sue” once (long haired) until the vet announced it was a boy (“Albert” is glaring at me now). She hasn’t aged. Meanwhile, I look like a bearded Norman Fell. #sigh. Age and time, Ms. Melinda Sue, you’re still a gracious lady for spending some time with your fans. Also great to see Mark, I didn’t get to see all of the storyline (and missed his death), looking forward to watching it all on RUclips one of these days. Thank you again Mr. Locher!
If you approach them in a pleasant but not aggressive way, they are always pleasant when they meet fans. I have met many soap stars, movie stars, singers, actors and actresses, even David Copperfield. He certainly was down to earth and is amazing, plus tall, dark, and handsome🙏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
They are the best, and such genuinely nice and likable people. I loved them on GL. Krista's hospital story though...at least there wasn't cell phones then lol. Everyone wants a picture, not an autograph now. That would have been interesting lol.
Mark looks great but doesn’t look at all like he used to. I know he’s gray, has a goatee & older but I don’t see anything that looks the same. I can’t figure it out. Krista looks amazing. I know she did OLTL & SB. I can’t believe the remaining soaps have never picked her up. Anyway, great interview. Keep up the good work. Have to add. Krista is sooooooooo pretty.
Trista was the best Mindy nothing beats the original! Kimberly was also good, she handled that affair storyline with Roger very well, with Alex being so vicious towards her. I don't think Trista could've handled that storyline I dont know.
I loved Krista and was very upset when she left but when Kimberly came on I grew to like her just as much. Mindy was one of my all time favorite GL characters.
At the time all the shows were trying to mimic the Charles & Di wedding, as well as the Luke & Laura reception, all trying to out-do one another. Unfortunately these elaborate weddings and on-locations never did anything to boost ratings, hence at the start of the 90s many of these shows had to cut back on expenses, which most unfortunately led to firing of many seasoned performers.
No disrespect to Kimberly Simms but Krista was my favorite " Mindy" on GL, she and Mark were gorgeous together , if only it could've lasted longer than it did...
I loved when HB called Mindy Melinda Sue lol and Billy called her "Princess".
I love that the actors are just as nostalgic about classic Guiding Light us fans. We truly are a family.
Krista is as pretty as she was back in the day. I loved when Mindy and Rick were together. It would be great to have her back on The Locher Room with Phillip and Rick and Beth
Krista's smile is best smile ever! I hope she will reprise her acting career in the future, she is so sparkling and talented!!
Krista is amazing. Would like to see a reunion with Krista, Judi, Grant, Michael, and Vincent.
That would be fantastic!! No offense to Beth Chamberlain; she was great in her own right, but when I think of the Four Musketeers, it's Judi as Beth.
Yes to this!!!!
Krista has not aged at all. She was formerly from Missouri, my hometown. I loved her as Melinda Sue Lewis.
Krista had the best stories. She’s so cute
She is just so gorgeous and still looks absolutely amazing!
I remember when Mindy's aunt Trish picked her up at the train station when she first came on the show. The Lewis era was really underway.
I was devastated when Krista left Guiding Light. I was a fan of the Rick and Mindy storyline, however it was short lived. But it was written so sweet and tender.
I loved Rick and Mindy as well
She was definitely the best Mindy
I remember being around 13 when Mindy entered Guiding Light. Mindy was so cunning and manipulating, not to mention Beautiful and sassy. I remember looking up to her as a teen. I was still playing with my Barbies at 13 believe it or not!! I recall having a Barbie that I renamed Mindy and I would recreate the Guiding Light storyline using my dolls.
How cute
Yeah it seemed like a Royal wedding- literally- or many Disney animated weddings with the valiant Prince and beautiful heroine
Awww! I absolutely loved this! Kurt and Mindy were one of my favorite couples when I started watching the show back in the day.
She is still beautiful!
My favorite Mindy of all time
😍😍😍
Fantastic Alan! (as always :) Krista does not age. I loved their love story. Kurt helped soften Mindy.
Glad you enjoyed it, Wendy!

I loved Mart Hulswit!
My gosh, Krista looks fantastic!
When GL was sooooo good! I always loved these 2. This was the highlight of my day. Thank you!! ❤️❤️
I loved Krista as Mindy.
What a wonderful reunion. I loved this couple together on GL. I always thought that Mark Lewis was gorgeous.
I remember in soap digest someone said mindys wedding bouquet was bigger than his shield it was hysterical. I loved both Krista and Kimberly Simms as Mindy.
Me too, BeeBe -- loved both actresses!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Dear Alan, I 'm just watching this now sorry I missed when it was live .Krista &Mark haven't changed a bit .That was a gorgeous wedding definitely one for the books .Thank you again, Alan for these outstanding chats .Stay safe .Roselle
Roselle Egan Krista pretty much looks the same, but don't recall Mark having grey hair and a beard on the show. 😜😜. I like the mature look.
I was studying in America during Guiding Light days...I really love watching Mindy... she still look beautiful and pleasant personality too
Another awesome reunion Alan!
Thank you, Lisa!
Peace wow love
😍💜😍
Another wonderful reunion. I still have the sweet reply Mark sent me in 1985 when I sent him fan mail.
Would love to have an address to send him a letter and let him know I met him several years ago.
Her life story itself can be a good script for soap series😊
Alan, another winner. Didn’t watch GL during this time but wanted to see this reunion and was enthralled from start to finish. Good souls in Krista and Mark. Genuine people. Thanks for saying that. Glad you enjoyed it.
Loved this one; they were such a great couple! Thanks, Alan!
You are welcome, Teresa!
Another amazing reunion! Great job. Thank you, loved it!👏🏼
Krista was the BEST Mindy! No one could ever fill your shoes !
Thanks for watching, Robin! Glad you found this interview.
My favorites. I remember when they were getting married and on that day things got mixed up and another wedding was booked at the same time and Mindy was about to fight the girl lol until vanessa stopped her and told her you are not getting into a fist fight on your wedding day
Sooo good. Sooo real. Thanks Alan!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching.

I love this, Rick. Thank you for sharing. Happy New Year to you.
OMG....I met Mark in Portland when he did that show.....He took questions after the performance, too bad he was soon let go after that..

Oh you are so welcome, Jim. Thanks for watching and for the note.
Her parents lived in ST Louis. I saw her at a shopping mall once. We followed her around but didn't have the nerve to approach her.

Cool
Wedding
Wow
Glad to hear it, Stacy!
Kurt and mindy were a good couple and had a beautiful TV wedding. I also liked nick/mindy n rick/mindy.
KT still basically looks the same.
Thanks for watching!
Krista talks so much!!!
Kurt and Mindy were one of my favorite couples. I was very upset when they killed off Kurt.
Trista was the best Mindy nothing beats the original! Kimberly was also good, she handled that affair storyline with Roger very well, with Alex being so vicious towards her. I don't think Trista could've handled that storyline I dont know.
Krista
@@carolinetucker2292 Krista I'm sorry

I wish Kurt had came back alive for mindy but I’m glad she marry rick Bauer!!!
None of Mindy's love interest lasted long, whether it be Kurt or Rusty; reason being they couldn't dare have a couple sexier than Josh and Reva.
I hated josh and reva.
I say that all the time!
The Locher Room
Sad that you Can not Answer a Message for you.!
I'm not sure what you mean. I apologize if I missed a message from you.
Silly for killing off Kurt
Yes Kurt & Mindy were so great
No disrespect to Kimberly Simms but Krista was my favorite " Mindy" on GL, she and Mark were gorgeous together , if only it could've lasted longer than it did...
Dang. Mark does not look 64. Don’t let the white hair fool ya!
Mark hardly has an opportunity to speak. Krista hogged the air time
Ha Ha -- Weren't they a great couple?
