Hi Rinske! I have been watching your videos for about two years. You make everything look so intuitive and easy. But when I tried to make a painting in your style, I realized that you use two things that I don't have: great artistic talent and sheer genius! I shall have to remain an enthusiastic (and frustrated) admirer.
Never get lost in comparisonitis! Rinske has been practicing for years. How can you expect to catch up over night? Be nice to you and keep on painting!
Rinske, I am loving the new circles and colour palettes- I am very excited to see what is next. Suggesting a Couleur palette- orange, yellow, pink, coral - minty green - light green blue… Love the painting on the wall- is there a video for that one…
I love how you moved into manipulating the background into the lead shapes not just putting down the straight color. Creativity should be like that embracing what you’re feeling moment to moment. After all art is about what’s in your heart and making others see what isn’t revealed without a closer look. Gorgeous reminds me of my others birds of paradise she had the green I had the giant blue so tropical and lush

I love this!! The colors flow so naturally together. I especially like how the layering turned out.. including the areas of transparency, but particularly the elements of the leaves/ flowers over/under one another. It creates so much depth and a beautiful flow. Mesmerizing!
Rinske, I think magenta, blue, purple and teal would be an awesome palette. This is beautiful I can’t wait until I can afford your botanical course. You are awesome and were my first inspiration for paint pouring…specifically your Dutch Pours. And now your botanicals.
That's really good. I think you could go one step further by doing a background in a completely non complimentary colour, which would add a depth to all those background leaves and rushes. Layering seems to me to be the key to this, as well as using unusual colour combinations. Great stuff x

@@RinskeDouna So, when you are creating these particular abstract paintings, do you use paint that is mixed with a medium other than water, or are you referring to the paint that is already thinned down?
