I don't own either of these storage systems, but I think the Elizabeth Ward system is more appealing to me because of the price and the variety of the container sizes. Thanks for sharing, Mrs. Coffee! 😊💜
That's a great point about a missed opportunity in regards to something like the Harbour Freight containers. I'm in Canada and asked a friend to ship some to me. I absolutely love them! Would have loved to see something like that from DAC. And probably would have been a cheaper price point too. Great comparison video!
I have the Elizabeth Ward, love em. Bought extra sizes its nice to change out what size u need. I place my stickers on side so it faces out so i can see which one i need. 💜
This is a very good informative video for comparison to the 2 storage containers.. I would like to bring up that the containers you have shown is actually a Classify brand (china brand). The real EW brand has an actual EWC label on the bottom of every containers they make, and they also have the handles that looks like the DaC one you showed. The EW storage also stacks much better and does not slide around compared to the classify brand. I did not purchase the DAC version, since I already have like 19 trays, 8 of which is actual EW, rest is Classify) and I absolutely love them. You did a great job on comparing the two, and have definitely made my mind thinking I was right to not need the DAC brand. Thank you! :)
This was a good video and I really appreciate that you included/mentioned accessibility! I only own the Elizabth Ward version but would add a couple things- they do sell small packages of the containers in case you break some or need a particular size. I found them on Amazon. My Joann's store carries the large set and you can sometimes find them on sale. Also...if you use the Alex drawers from Ikea that are shallow...these can still fit in the drawers! I like to keep the lid underneath so when I open the drawer you can access them easily but have the kid if you need to travel.
Thanks for doing this video! Although I am on a "no buy" on canvases right now... I do need some more storage containers and have been waiting for this video, that you promised. ❤❤
Thank you for the video! I have never seen these containers and it was nice to learn about them. I use the "tic-toc" system and it is good enough. I would like DAC to pack their drills in baggies, then I wouldn´t need to kit up the drills.
Thank you so much for the comparison. I'm new to diamond painting and I don't have either storage solution. I use the bottles but I was intrigued by all the size options in Elizabeth Ward. I think your information was fair and objective. I now feel better informed on which one will work better fir me. Thank you!
Thank you for this. I've been wondering what the DAC storage was really like. And your thoughts made my decision for me. I have thin, brittle nails...so I'm going with the EW's. I break enough nails at work. The last thing I need is my hobby storage snapping them off too, lol
I 100% agree. I'd love to see someone make something like the harbor freight containers. I'm in the U.S. so I can get them, but I'd love to see them made for diamond painting .
I have a folding zip closer soft sided travel case that holds 60 round drill containers screw caps and I love mine, when you open it there is a pocket that houses all the loose " things " it's smaller than those 2 containers and it's easier to carry it has a handle.
Thank you. I had no idea there were so many differences in the two. I've never tried this type of storage, but I would prefer the clear cover...I love seeing my color palette. I would love to see an affordable leftover drill storage system from DAC...but not in pink...lol
That was a GREAT comparison. Well done 🥰 I've always used the Elizabeth Ward system and I mostly love it. I've found that a few container tops don't fit or latch properly and then I can't use them. But you can always buy just the extra containers. I also use the Harbor Freight containers. I do love them, too, but they only come in one size. And they are inexpensive! So I use EW for square, and HF for round drills.
I personally love the New Trabricks by Cateared. No more pouring drills into trays and then pouring them back to containers, the trabricks are containers and tray in one , very time saving! And they have built on lids, pet proof.❤
Thank you Mrs Coffee for this comparison. I have recently brought the DAC one and have kitted up in it. I prefer the DAC to the EW as they feel a bit stronger. As a fibromyalgia sufferer, I still prefer my DAC kit.
I don't have either of these but if I did I would pick the Elizabeth Ward containers because of the various sizes. I use Artdot round bottles. Thanks for sharing the video.
Thank you so much for the thorough comparison. The storage solution I am wishing for is the Art Dot case with various sized containers (similar to the seed storage case that is sold on Amazon, but with something like the 120 container count)
Thank you for the comparison have 2 EW saving for some large for me kits tend to use chicklets, baggies, bottles & cateared trabrks really liking those. Great review
Thank you for doing this comparison! I prefer the Harbor Freight ones because they are easier for me to carry and store, and one lives near my house! I do own 2 of the EW and do like them well enough. I also have the small storage ones that have 28 boxes for smaller DP's. With arthritis in both of my shoulders and weakened arm strength, i just can't handle heavy items anymore. I appreciate your thoughts as, like you said, eveybody has their own preference. I do hope DAC comes up with different types of storage solutions over time. Thank you for sharing! Have a blessed day!
I don't have the DAC one because I wasn't a fan of the EW. I prefer the HF containers and I haven't really strayed from them in the last 6 years ❤❤❤️ I did enjoy seeing this comparison video though! Great work as always Mrs C! ❤
Great comparison! I like all the different (but fair) specific ways you compared them. I can't afford EW or DAC ones, but got me some less expensive EW knock offs from Amazon which are just gGreat! TY for sharing your knowledge & experience with us!
Thank you for the comparison. I have rheumatoid arthritis and a great dane that wants to see what I'm doing. I went with the Elizabeth Ward based on price and what you shared.
I started dp this year. Great review.I picked the Elizabeth Ward with the option of all small containers which gave me about 80 containers! It worked for my first 4 projects and I purchased the medium/larger containers for my next project. The Elizabeth Ward system is so great and I’m very happy with it. Now this is my opinion: I’m disappointed with DAC for the obvious copy cat of Elizabeth Ward.
What a great video! I am a huge fan of Diamond Art Club. I have not purchased the storage tray though, mainly because it’s not customizable like Elizabeth Ward containers. I have a total of 5 EW containers that I have customized by purchasing extra sizes of the containers that are used the most. I was also able to buy only the tray part to house the different size containers that were purchased separately I think at Joannes. I like your idea of the Harbor Freight containers. Harbor Freight also sells a bigger container which will hold 54 of the small boxes. They are my go-to as well as EW containers.
I'm really glad you did this video. I was considering trying the DAC ones, but now I won't. I have 10 Elizabeth Ward trays, and after watching your video, I will stay with them. I'm not real impressed with the DAC ones.
I like that Elizabeth Ward has 4 different sizes of containers. I don’t own either of these as I’m new to dp, but am leaning towards EW for that reason.
I still love Elizabeth ward. Im missing the smallest size that i use the most in diamond art club box. Also there is no space for your fingertip to flip them open (no long nails to use here😅). I love both for different purposes. Diamond art club for big big big diamond paintings and Elizabeth ward for all other canvases.
Thanks for doing the comparison videos. I currently use artdot storage because of the convenience. I can zip it up and carry with me not problem. I do prefer Elizabeth ward if I had to choose though.💜
I enjoyed the video and agree with what you said about the difference between them baisd off what you were showing. I do not own either and don't plan on buying either but that's just because I like what I'm using now due to the pretty print it has on it plus the zipper enclosure. Also my daughter bought me the one I use and you can't put a price on a sentimental item.
I agree DAC would have been better doing the HF style. I recently purchased the HF storage and I like it, however I do feel the latches are flimsy. I can see having to replace it soon, however because of the price point it wouldn't be a problem. But, DAC could have made a more sturdy version that could have potentially turned the craft world on its heels as long as the price was reasonable. As it stands, I will never buy the DAC storage. I thought I was splurging when I bought the EW one.
I do love my EW containers. I think if DAC adds an extra small size (purchase as extras) that would be awesome. I can see why some people would like the DAC but for the money I will stick with the EW.
I have the EW and the Harbor Freight. My favorite is Harbor Freight. They are smaller but the price point is phenomenal. Depending on what coupon you use, I have gotten the HF ones for as little as $3.99. Unfortunately, I can't justify paying that big price for the Diamond Art Club one. I'm sure its wonderful but pricey. I think if they went more with the HF ones, they would make more money in the long run because the new diamond painters wouldn't have as big a problem paying for the lesser price as opposed to the EW look alike. Just my opinion. Thank you for the video Mrs. Coffee.
I'll still with EW, even though I would buy the DAC just to try it. My main thing for EW is the very small containers. I just kitted up a DAC kit, and there are sooo many packages with a very small amount,. I bought one of the sets that is only small containers. Also, I had to use a few of the larger ones for the background color, and DAC's aren't that large, but for me it's mainly that I want the small ones. But someday will probably try it.
I want to point out a couple of things about the EW. They sell a version that is full of only the tiny containers. And you don't have to leave them in size order. You can rearrange the order of the containers. They can be mixed all up inside the holder. So like, the cut out inside that is made for the largest container ...you can fit a variety of options inside that space and it fits perfectly. So you can arrange them however you want/need to in order to accommodate however you like to arrange your diamonds for painting.
I’ve never experienced either these or harbor freight, so I truly appreciate the comparison. After watching the entire video however, I think I would check out Harbor freight first.
I don't have either of those I do have a few HF but I have a few different storage containers that comes with the bottles with the twist off lids and sometimes I just work out of the resealable baggies
I have both the Elizabeth ward is the winner for me because it has the mini containers and I use them a lot but I do love the lid on my DAC container it’s much sturdier and it’s pink my favourite colour.
Thank you for your video... I agree that it was a missed opportunity, their quality would've been better. I have E.W. and Harbor Freight, I prefer E.W. over H.F. cause the drills get caught around the rim of the H.F. containers! I do not have the diamond art containers because of the price... and my tic tac containers are too small (don'thold enough drills).
I have 2 EW then found the classify knockoffs of EW and got 9 of those ...they are interchangeable with EW and the best part is ive seen then as low as $9.99 up to $19.99.....glad you showed the DAC case i was thinking of trying one out ...not now...thank you for the comparison..
I actually prefer the Satinior system that Amazon offers. They come in various sizes. They are similar to the harbor freight system, without the tiny latch. I was afraid I would break off the tiny latch. I have 3 different sizes that I bought. I got the LARGE pencil box from target and can get tons of these containers, even with different sizes into it!
The price and variety of buying options (4 sizes, and various diff counts) wins for EW. But i LOVE that pink top. If DAC can improve on sizes, lose organizers, etc, i would switch over. Im a little confused on the DAC stackability since you said it doesn't sit on the lid correctly.
Thank you for doing this comparison video! I don’t have either containers but I would definitely get Elizabeth ward if I had to choose because of the price and the size of containers. Don’t get me wrong, I love DAC but I feel they could definitely make some changes. Mrs. Coffee, have you seen the knockoffs of Elizabeth ward and if so, what do you think of them? Just curious because I saw a RUclipsr unbox a knockoff.
Personally, I own an Elizabeth Ward one and a knock off EW. I am good with the EW. $45 is a little steep for my budget. I would rather spend the money on a DP canvas than storage. Just my opinion. Yes I do agree from a business standpoint that DAC missed an opprtunity by not chosing to design their storage system similiar to the Harbor Freight ones and could've maximize d by making them able to be shipped internationally at a cheaper price point. J/S
Elisabeth Ward is better for me due to my issues with my hands also they would lighter to carry but still love dac but I'm on budget to much love Mrs Coffee
Yes I would like to try it out but it is too pricey for now and I will doubt it will drop in price like Elizabeth Ward knock off like you have is great price I got mine at Temu for 12 dollars so I bought six of them yes so thank you ooh I have long nails and it can work with Elizabeth Wards better love your channel
I'm definitely an EW girl. I only have 2 sets, but got them on Prime Day at 2 for $35 last year! I cannot justify DAC's price. I also agree with you in that I wish they had done something new or different than a copy of something that is already widely popular. Nothing against them, it's pretty, but not worth it, imo.
@MrsCoffee1 I am good Gabe is doing well. He is in a higher functioning classroom now. And finally putting Autism on his IEP. and getting myself tested as well. They said PTSD ADHD and autism for me. So I just gonna do the next part talking with her and see what else I need to do. I understand how hard it is. Just pray that I will be ok . Getting ready for my nkotb concert for tomorrow night excited 😊
I don't own either of these storage systems, but I think the Elizabeth Ward system is more appealing to me because of the price and the variety of the container sizes. Thanks for sharing, Mrs. Coffee! 😊💜

MRS. Coffee , As someone with Cerebral Palsy, thank you so much for shining the light on accessibility during your comparison!
I have the Elizabeth Ward, love em. Bought extra sizes its nice to change out what size u need. I place my stickers on side so it faces out so i can see which one i need. 💜

❤. I have EW and Harbor Freight containers and I use them both. I have a scrapbook container to fit 2 Harbor Freight kits. It’s fabulous
Container-ception!!!😂😂😂 Love it!❤

If you flip the top over will the diamond art club lid fit better? I think you only tried the lid one direction

Two pkgs

Im a little confused on the DAC stackability since you said it doesn't sit on the lid correctly.
It is stackable bit it slips easier than the EW trays, I would say it needs to be slightly raised on the sides to make it not slide off easily
Thank you for doing this comparison video! I don’t have either containers but I would definitely get Elizabeth ward if I had to choose because of the price and the size of containers. lol me as an indecisive person brain says just get both have the best of both worlds
I love my EW trays. I bought enough extra containers that I bought an empty tray (or 2) to hold them all.
Hi just wanted you to know that you did a great video have a blessed day 💕
I appreciate that, Thank you
Elisabeth Ward is better for me due to my issues with my hands also they would lighter to carry but still love dac but I'm on budget to much love Mrs Coffee

Thanks for comparing and contrasting the two! I also think you missed your calling and should work for HSN or those other guys.
I'm definitely an EW girl. I only have 2 sets, but got them on Prime Day at 2 for $35 last year! I cannot justify DAC's price. Harbor Freight is good; like EW.
How are you doing 💗 wow alot
I'm good how are you?

i like both but prefer the EW just because i like to see the colors from the sides.
