If tv and soundbar has optical than use optical cable connection no difference in audio with hdmi audio extractor and optical cable direct

Is there are different types of hdmi cables for home theatre and computer data
hdmi cable are mainly three types used in home theater, pc, tv everywhere.
HDMI 1.4 support full HD, hdmi arc dolby digital plus for lossy or compressed atmos, dolby 5.1.
Hdmi 2.0 can support 4k video hdmi earc, lossless dolby True HD.
hdmi 2.1 support 8k display hdmi earc and all uncompressed audio formats.

Hey hai i have a small doubt that i have projector which has hdmi port it seems like it is hdmi input port i have connected my android stick to HDMI it works seamlessly and i want to connect my Audio amplifier to projector through hdmi now my doubt is it doesn't have any 2nd HDMI port but it has USB port so is there any option to connect the Projector sound output to amplifier by using any HDMI extension if it is there kinldy let me know please
you can not connect hdmi out of any video device to soundbar hdmi arc, you need to use hdmi to optical converter for video and audio through optical cable.

connect soundbar to tv with hdmi arc port, connect set top box to another port of tv, in tv sound settings change out output as hdmi arc. If app of tv or box support dolby sound it will pass to soundbar. In tv and box settings also check dolby digital plus enabled for best audio, if any issue in sound chnage to dolby digital only

Mera TV Samsung Crystal 4k UHD hai aur isme HDMI eARC port bhi hai but mere Soundbar (Samaung B55E/XL) me ARC Out port hai. To full Dolby Atmos feature kaise mil sakta hai mere soundbar se if I connevt it to my TV using HDMI cable?
This soundbar is dts virtual x not atmos, you can check atmos by play some track on netflix or hotstar of atmos. But I think it can't decode atmos codec.

Can this work dolby effect
If soundbar have only 2.1 channel without any virtual surround you will get only stereo sound over bluetooth or analog converter. Bluetooth also only support 2.1 channels.
Sir i want to connect AVR to mobile through AUX cable but AVR need HDMI ARC cable for 7.2 chenal work so how to connect AVR through HDMI ARC cable to AUX for mobile connection.. kindly reply
over aux only 2.1 channel hi milega from mobile it is difficult to get 7.1 channels.
it is possible from blu ray player, ott apps, amazon fire stick etc.
On maximum ott platform 5.1 channel are only available, some soundbar create 7.1 from 5.1 by splitting channels virtually.

Soundbar aur tv dono ko hdmi earc port se connect karna hai. Agar tv me earc nahi hai to arc se connect karna hai. In tv sound settings select hdmi arc as sound output.
Also in soundbar select source as TV hdmi earc.

agar hdmi se sound nahi aa pa raha hai kisi bhi condition me like auto, pcm. You can use optical cable, for 5.1 channel dolby digitql optical also works without any significant difference.

@@brajeshdevda8145 optical me kuch jyada difference pata nahi chalega you can use optical cable. optical cable can not pass dolby digital plus so if original sound is based on dd+ soundbar can't decode every information over optical.
in my testing many sound profile like music, movies works fine on optical except atmos.

Nahi monitor me hdmi arc ya optical nahi aata kuch monitor me only Aux port aata hai. Connect laptop to tv and tv to soundbar, or use hdmi to optical converter, or use soundbar with hdmi in port.
