I think a full spec GLX Landcruiser (or current LC300 GXL/Sahara/GR sport vs Lexus GX600) would be a far more sensible and versatile option in all regards, other than it's size if you can't negotiate certain lanes... Admittedly, that Ferrari engine sounds like a fun factor.
I just drove 600 miles in Scotland including a trip out to the Isle of Skye. There's no way I would want any vehicle as large as either of these. The roads are really narrow with very unforgiving shoulders. And the speeds are low, with lots of caravan/campers in the tourist areas. And the trucks share the same roads. Also, the Scottish motorways have average speed cameras. (You get timed between two points). So there's really no point in having an "insanely" fast car.
51 for sale upon autotrader may 23rd. 1 example is £556k OTR, 1kmiles offered at £399k , oh & it's 1 year old ! Only 157k depreciation, only less than 15k per month , OUCH. Nobody wants new because ferrari are TOO greedy ! FACT
As a Ferrari Purosangue owner, I appreciate the car has its many flaws, and may not be perceived as a 'real' Ferrari, but to me it is still a Ferrari! It was designed, built with a true Ferrari V12 engine. Not like the Bentley, which I'm sorry to say will depreciate like a stone and will be worth banger money (unfortunately like most Bentley's) in a few years time! Plus every time you get in the Purosangue and see the Prancing Horse on the steering wheel, you smile to yourself knowing that you are sitting in a Ferrari!
300 grand for a not-SUV, SUV is crazy. I’d have my Ferrari sports car for everyday use & for the days I need to take the kids to school, I’d have a fully spec’d out RangeRover. Makes far more sense Edit: OMG, that Ferrari was £410k with optional extras. That’s insane. It cost the same as my house

As I’ve never owned a Ferrari this is my view but all Ferraris seem to be more delicate and temperamental than the other luxury or supercar brands? Porsches can be daily driven so the Cayenne is sturdy as can the Bentayga or Urus seem to not be made of crystal
I would have done a Bentayga W12 vs the Puro, then it would be the Bentley that wins for me, in a world where the w12 exists which sadly isnt the case.
I think the DBX is a much better proposition / purchase than the Ferrari (and I am lucky enough to be a Ferrari 488 and a DBX owner) more practical equally prestigious, c£150k less and a proper SUV not a hyped up estate(ish) car costing £400k + (although Aston are now getting increasingly daft with their pricing) The DBX is a great long distance cruiser and as super sporty as you want it to be (although actually its only the testers who hammer these cars pretending they are not what (most of them) are ie comfortable cruisers. If you can overcome its still very conservative rather frumpy styling the Bentley has a wonderful interior which might win you over but equally so does the new DBX Enjoyable test by two professionals thank you

The M77 is the only motorway with average speed cameras in Scotland, some A roads have got them though.
