Even though they're not science guys or Jeopardy champions, it was an absolute thrill to chase an unusually large man through The Ding Dang/Piggy Bank/Big Bang with The Guardians of the Galaxy!!
This was such a well-organized and efficient opening day for a brand new roller coaster, and I'm so glad to say that it truly feels like it belongs in Epcot. I highly recommend that you check it out for yourselves, and let us and Stupid Judy know what you think about it in the comments below!

Disco Inferno is so good. Also I think there was a Hidden Mickey on the Moon 35:21. It might just be the angle though
Disco Inferno was suuuuch a good song to ride to! And I see what you're talking about for the Hidden Mickey, but it's hard to tell if it truly is one because it seems to change as we rotate away from it. I'll have to ride it again to find out!
After the new parkeology vlog is out, I would love to see you guys attempt to ride all the rides in universal
That is absolutely on our to-do list! We actually did a practice run over there (a while ago now...), so I'll have to get that vlog posted too until we find the best day to do the full run at Universal!

the universe of energy cosplay is so clever, i would've freaked out if i saw that
i miss universe of energy so much but guardians of the galaxy is such a fun and awesome ride and i like that there's alot of references to energy... i noticed the "ding dang" reference when i was on the ride but from the videos i've seen there's so much more that i'll have to look for next time i'm there [i have disability pass so i haven't seen the full que, maybe i should just go through the full que next time because i really want to see that model!! and i would definitely watch a video of you guys looking for easter eggs!
We had an absolute blast, and I'm so glad that you appreciated the cosplay! I couldn't agree with you more; I miss Ellen so much, but Guardians is a really fun ride and addition to the park. There is so much to see and hear in the queue! I love how long the audio and visual loops are so that you need to wait in line or ride several times to experience everything. I highly recommend going through the full queue if you have the opportunity too! I'm always on the hunt for easter eggs, so we'll have to head back over there at some point to find them all.
