Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ruclips.net/user/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
Awesome piece of work, i smiled all the while watching you beautiful young ladies hard at work, why? i kept thinking to myself how positive and focused you both are, considering the way things are for some of our young ppl today. you seem to stay positive i really love that attitude. Your project turned out very nice, please keep the HARD WORK UP and stay POSITIVE, MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU BOTH.
This is the first Video I've seen where you showed what could go wrong and how to correct it...... I love it... and the furniture turned out lovely.....
What I was saying is.... Most DIY only show you the perfect outcome... but this Video could happen to any person doing their first DIY.... ( I know what happens when you leave grout on too long but some people don't and do not know how to fix it when this happens)
You girls are adorable! Love to see real people show what happens when real people make stuff. Great job and I am so doing my bedroom too! Thanks ladies!
I just bought my dresser yesterday my hudsband was mad he said its old and ugly😢 so i told him you are helping me make it pretty ... good video girls i know now what not to do
You guys did an awesome job. I've watched so many mirror mosaic videos and yours is the most helpful. You actually show all the steps and made it easy for other DIYers to follow along. Thank you so much. I'm going to do this to a cheap Ikea tabletop and turn it into my living room coffee table.
The final product looks amazing. For future projects when using grout it needs to be wiped out right after it was applied with a wet sponge. You can have a bucket of water next to you to keep rinsing off the sponge. The instruction on how to use the grout are on the package.
They mentioned in the video that the package was confusing, which is true, so they obviously knew where the "instructions" were.. don't gotta be a dick about it.
Coltalb 12 Thank you. That’s still useful to know. For those of us that rush through directions! I don’t think you were being rude at all! You clearly were complimenting them as well 👌🏼
You ladies were hilarious 😁!!! I really enjoyed this D.i.y... Most diy's make everything seem so easy. You two kept it Real💯..The grout situation...😂😂.End result Beautiful!!!!
You guys did great! Typical mistakes for first timers! Just a few things to look for next time - use chalk paint and you will not have to sand. also, apply grout and immediately wipe grout lightly off the mirror and leaving it in spaces which when I do mosaic I put mirror pieces closer together.
Beth Lowe, This is just the reply I needed. Was wondering about the wipe off part. Working on this now and I clearly did the wipe off part wrong lol Thanks a bunch
My hearts went out to you guys when you dried the grout for too long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU 2 WORKED SO HARD! --but the results are SO beautiful! I LOVE IT ALL!
I love your videos. You show the people that these projects aren't as easy as others show they are. You both show what can happen and the true state on projects. Thank you for being real and honest. Keep up the great work.
Contrary to what you may think although it was a challenge for you guys it was actually encouraging for me because at least I know now what not to do so thanks for sharing it looks beautiful.
Wonderful job! Ladies by far the BEST video out there for how to mosaic tile furniture. Thanks for sharing. You have inspired me to upscale my plastic 3 tier storage binds that are in my bathroom. I'm hoping the plastic will be amendable to this mosiac process. Trying to save some money on a budget.
Glam & Religion I’m sure she meant varnish. Some people say varnish in other parts of the world. Americans say nail polish, some say nail paint, French say nail laquer. All the same
This is awesome, I love how you shared good, bad, ugly, and sad in the process and gave tips on what to do for others. I want one but I can't at the moment since house is furnished with some antiques but I when it's time to make a change, this is in my future thanks ladies.
I loved this video. I usually try a “1 hour project” and it takes me 4 days. Y’all made me confident I could do this too, cause I got to see how it really goes down when regular people do a diy. And on a REAL budget.
I certainly commend you and your roommate for hanging in there. The finished product is very lovely. I have done small mosaic projects. I can't imagine having the patience to take on something so large. A job well done.
Oh my gosh you had me laughing so loud! "Yeah, y'all this is a very dangerous project I'm about to have no fingers by the end of this..." I was cringing when I saw you working with the broken mirror pieces. Let's hope that when Halloween comes there's no more glass left in that candy Bowl.
This is the realest diy videos.’I truly appreciate y’all showing what went wrong even with carefully following instructions and talking extensively how you had to try multiple things to fix!!!
Great jobs girls, i love the fact that you both showed the tedious work behind the scences. I need to see more of the both of you making stuff. I personally loved the video. Thanks.
Ladies you did an outstanding job. Thank you for including your mistakes, those are what we learn by. You two are an awesome an awesome team. Please come up with some more DIY projects and share them with us. Love your work you guys are too precious!!!
After my two Pups messing and destroying dime Of my furniture,i started to purchssing from Salvation Army and Goodwill. Its not What It is but hace the vision foto the end result. Now everything looks cool ,sort Of a bohemian look🙄😁
I loved your honesty about the whole project! Things don't always go as plan and you told it clearly unlike some other DIY videomakers that make everything look too easy. Big thanks 'bout honesty!
I love the honesty!! So many videos make stuff seem so easy when its usually difficult in real life. great job ladies they look like they came from the furniture store.
Preeeeeety! I love your errors because your lessons help us all to NOT repeat them. I cringed when you didn't use a bucket or old milk carton to mix your grout but hey, it still worked! Awesome you hung in there and made some crazy cool drawers. Thanks for posting your creation.
You all did a great job and thanks for all the real info on how to do it. When it's those tutorials where everything is done just so with no mistakes it's just not as real. You all made some beautiful stuff and worked hard to get it that way.
This is the first video I've ever seen that made me believe I could do it even if I mess it up and can be fixed and turn out beautiful plus the personality of the young lady's personality was just lovely well done
Wow!! You two really did the darn thing! Glad y'all hung in there and completed your diy knowing it took longer to clean off the gout. You two did a great job! You learn from your mistakes. Looks so pretty!
Beautiful! I really dig y'alls persistence and resilience. I'm sure I'll do it yet but I'll show this to some of the kids I work with to show how patience and persistence pays in the end. Kudos to you both! 🌟💚👍💚🌟
You're really supposed to wipe after 30 mins of drying, but you should still have to wipe about 5 times to get it all off. :) Great job though, they look great!
Absolutely beautiful! I must say, you ladies shown the patience of Job! You have inspired me to try to makeover my bedroom dressers! God bless you both!!🙏🏻🤗❤
Very nice job even with the grout issue. That's how we learn through trial-and-error. You two have definitely taught me something in your video. Thank you!
The dressers are absolutely beautiful. When you grout, wipe excess off before it dries. When it's completely dry there will be a film that you can easily wipe off. There is also a grout sealer that should be applied. I've done a lot of ceramic tile work. LOVE this idea of yours. Thanks!!😚
You girls are quite amazing. This was the scariest DIY I've ever watched to get the most beautiful-ever furniture! Now that took a load o' patience and is just gorgeous! Congratulations!
You ladies did an amazing job! The end result was beautiful! I was laughing right along with you. Many of us learned right along with you! Thanks for sharing.
Great video but there really wasn’t a point of buying expensive paint when you were going to grout over it you could have just gotten any old white paling
Wooowwwwww!!! Hard work ladies but they turned out sooooooo BEAUTIFUL!!! Absolutely gorgeous!!! 😍🥰🤩 Thnx 4 showing us the "REAL"! Ppl mk videos & edit out mistakes but the mistakes are part of the learning process. Fabulous job! 😘
I have done these kinda slip up things all my life and lot of the time repeated the same thing as I forget what not to do. Govy I feel like kicking maself I tell you 🙄😆it turned out amazing though your hard work paid off big time 😊
I think you all did AMAZING, love how you show the entire process so others like me know what is in store when tackling a project like this. I want to redo my bedroom set to look more like that
Great job girls!! They look fab. I am a qualified tiler by trade and wondered if rather than gluing the glass on you could have used a thicker layer of grout to stick the glass?? .. it would have then pushed up the sides for you to spread over the top.... and yes would have been good to wipe after 30-40 mins and always in a circular motion so it doesn’t lift it from the spaces between. Inspiring me to go looking for things to mirror up!!! Well done!
FABULOUS!!👏👏👏 This is a great video thank you so much ladies! My suggestions for next time and anyone else who does this project (including my future self lol) is to wear work gloves when handling the broken mirror shards. GLOVES! 🤣 And also, always read the instructions for every product you use on a project. Doing this will often save you from simple mistakes like leaving on the grout overnight, and is also a great way to learn new techniques for future DIY projects.
Love it!! You all learned a lot and did a lot of hard work and it paid off. I have been ill and haven't worked in a year and wanted to get my teenage daughter some new furniture for her 15th in April and my son a new dresser for his 8th B-Day in January but no funds for new. So, I think I'll check out Dollar Tree for mirrors or see if I can get some old greaser mirrors cut at a glass company for her dresser and nightstand she already has. If not, I'll do the broken glass thing. Now I had a exfriend that was a bricklayer and he taught me grout, no matter where you use it, can be spread on the pieces of glass or tile but just after the application you wipe it off. I think I'm gonna use tiny tile pieces for my sons room. Great job. You ladies can do some others and sale them at consignment shops.... They will be gone quick.
Great work I love it!! U guys made me laugh at some point oh my goodness thanks for the heads up on the glass cutting u up n the grout overnight! Y’all worked so hard! But they are beautiful 🙌🏻👍🏻👍🏻😃
Totally enjoyed this video! I couldn't believe what I heard when you said you let the grout dry overnight though!😂 Kudos to y'all for figuring out how to get it off! I bet you do what the directions say on future projects!👍😂😂 Y'all were too funny & it turned out fantastic!! I love it!
Wow!! I love all the mistakes you made! Because I would have done the same thing!! That's how you learn!! I love, love your project!! I learned something from both of you. Really appreciate your time in explaining everything so well!! Kudos to both of you!!!

I love that this shows an honest real project. You girls did so well and worked so hard.
Next time, use nail varnish remover, gets the grout off in seconds :D
Sharon Cross nail POLISH remover? Was that a typo or is it really nail varnish remover?
Glam & Religion I’m sure she meant varnish. Some people say varnish in other parts of the world. Americans say nail polish, some say nail paint, French say nail laquer. All the same
Brittany that’s why I asked hunny. I wasn’t trying to be funny

A trick: you can watch movies on Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Leroy Benjamin yup, have been watching on Flixzone for since december myself =)

I love the honesty!! So many videos make stuff seem so easy when its usually difficult in real life. great job ladies they look like they came from the furniture store.
Yeah, you were suppose to put the grout on then with a damp sponge wipe it off and let it dry. They came out wonderful

Loved your patience girls you were both so sweet, and the finished article was fantastic !!! Well done
Ok, that was a lot of work but the results! Came out so nice! Y'all should be proud of yourselves.

ladies the painting process is a lot faster by using a paint roller for smooth surfaces.

Just curious if y'all ever used warm soapy water & a big sponge, cuz you should have been able to get the grout off?
we did. it didn't work because we left the grout on too long.
Juss.Erin O yeah that will do it every time..the first time I did the same thing..we live and we learn..but it still came out beautiful..great job..
You ladies did an amazing job! The end result was beautiful! I was laughing right along with you. Many of us learned right along with you! Thanks for sharing.
Great video but there really wasn’t a point of buying expensive paint when you were going to grout over it you could have just gotten any old white paling
tres beatty I guess the paint was for the sides that couldn't have had mirrors on them? Or the tops of the stands as some don't want a glass top
yes there was. the sides and top of dressers are painted only, and with good paint and primer the paint will last so much longer.
Seriously...ladies, ya'll have achieved a stunning result. I'm hooked...
So, now we all know. 30 mins.
Exactly my point Only HIM....
Only HIM oh hell to the No
Christ Rocks your ment to get the grout wet after it drys so they done it abit wrong but worked out in the end so it’s fine

Well done!
Wow I just love the whole friendship..to stick with helping your friend for hours n days n you both worked well together. I want one of those 😍😍😍
Great job girls! Your persistence paid off. They’re beautiful 😍
FABULOUS!!👏👏👏 This is a great video thank you so much ladies! My suggestions for next time and anyone else who does this project (including my future self lol) is to wear work gloves when handling the broken mirror shards. GLOVES! 🤣
And also, always read the instructions for every product you use on a project. Doing this will often save you from simple mistakes like leaving on the grout overnight, and is also a great way to learn new techniques for future DIY projects.
The finished products is very, very beautiful. You did an amazing job.
Great Job! I love how you left bigger pieces mixed in with smaller pieces makes a big difference in the look.
thank you!
Great work I love it!! U guys made me laugh at some point oh my goodness thanks for the heads up on the glass cutting u up n the grout overnight! Y’all worked so hard! But they are beautiful 🙌🏻👍🏻👍🏻😃

i love that you showed real struggles, lol. everybody on YT makes everything look so simple! lol. Great job :)

This has to be the funniest DIY I've ever seen. LOL The pieces turned out beautiful!
