- An example run of the grandmaster combat task. I wasn't expecting as fast of a time given that it's a vtvg crab raid, but it works. Scuffed the crabs (but got lucky) and scuffed the olm since I haven't done chambers in a bit, but at least the task was completed.

What is that scythe method at olm and how come you don't do 4:1 lance on crush? Thanks
4:1 lance on crush is best for solo cm but in regular solo raids, scythe on slash is better dps. world scythe is the efficient method to scythe the hand while only dodging the portals special attack (since everything else doesn't cause you to lose dps), here is the link to the chart for that docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1klagOGBCISa7eF6o8VM5v7f1Qhtc4lg_CqzMDYo0ZhE/edit#gid=0
that being said, I don't use scythe world since I never bothered learning it with how few solo regulars i do. I just scythe the hand until I see an opportunity to skip portals, or if i'm on a poor cycle (ex. I scythe the same tick as the auto immediately after lightning) then i'll just mace to save a tick and then skip portals after.
@@HemmiezRS Thanks for the informative reply. So even just scything the hand like you're in a team and skipping portals is still better than 3:1 scythe, 4:1 lance etc. in normals? Still quite impressive that you managed to basically no prep it just doing it that way.
@@Jman42576 ye scythe camp is the best average dps even without hammers iirc, it can get a little rough for people just starting out but sweets makes it very easy after you get used to it. if you're just trying to get used to always no prepping with no lance you can take bandos and maybe a bloodfury until you feel comfortable

i know this was 2 years ago but hopefully u perfected it by now. you can mage skip and then get at least 1 good melle hit in between before going to the pinky to hit the mage hand. cause obviously u only need that last mage hit to hit when ur on the pinky.but yeah speeds up the kill a bit. at least for me personally.
im not quite sure what you're referring to, but if you're talking about 4:0, that method only works with 4 tick weapons and is generally worse dps unless you have the clicks to do all switches + prayers (example - www.twitch.tv/idexx/clip/BlueCrunchyFiddleheadsOpieOP-pHTmfQ7B1DQZrBuz).
but otherwise, world scythe p1/2 and 7:3 mage are the best dps methods for the gear at the time and are both employed in the video (scuffed tho). if you're talking about hisoka's p3 method, that only works with shadow + scythe, so once again it can't really be done in the gear at the time
Do you have to put scythe on slash at olm with inquistor?
ye, scythe is better on slash vanguards / olm when in inquisitor unless you get olm hand below 15 defence
