we did a mini, 3 day safari back in 2011, after my husband climbed Kilimanjaro, this is one of the places we came, we were lucky to see the lions in the trees and we saw a leopard kill up a tree, sadly not the leopard that put it there.We had a little 'oops' moment while here we were driving away from seeing the flamingos and driving down a track with trees and bushes on either side, i was standing looking over the drivers cab, my 11yo in the navigator seat up front with Edgar our driver when suddenly out of the bush, across the track and gone, as quick as that, i had the bruises to prove emergency stop and swerve work. A large mother hippo and baby made an break for cover , i also have to photo of mum accross the track baby behind and the secomd, mums bum in the bushes baby after. dont know how we were not knocked off the track, thanks to our drive who laughted and asked if i got a picture? we are off to Kenya next year cant wait
