It’s crazy how inspirational it is. I got to talk to him for a few minutes when he came to Calgary, the homie is a genuinely nice guy and gave me a huge boost, shortly after finishing my 3rd round of chemo. He’s a legend for accomplishing what he has and we’re lucky to have him in the skate scene.
It’s so great to see different generations of skaters together and ripping. Some dudes in their 20s all the way up to almost 50. So many legends till staying true to skateboarding 🙏❤️
Some of my favorite skaters all in one trip was incredible to see. Brandon Westgate, Evan Smith, TJ Rogers and Wes Kremer are incredible but everyone killed it.

Not stoked on all the devil worship shit Thrasher does (the shit has nothing to do with skateboarding) however in this edit along with other past others, flying skaters out of the states just so we can get wonderful edits... this with the others are all truly lovely. Overall just really stoked T.J. got included and did what was showcased doing this shit in his home land. (Rick McCrank in Yeah Right! Holding the Maplewood leaf saying "I hold this dear to my heart!") .......just sayin'! Hope everyone had a dope Thanksgiving!

Evan Smith is outta control. He did several things in this edit that needed rewatched multiple times. Those couple of crazy grinds in steep park terrain, his hectic steeze on some of those flip trick catches... one of the all time sickest.

Damn I was not expecting this at all today ! Live in Edmonton Alberta and flew to Vancouver to film go skate day and meet the pros. Was looking forward to this edit, finally get to see it!! I try to comment on Thrasher vids cause maybe eventually theyll give me an opportunity to film for/with them. Thats the dream anyway, would've loved to be at some of these spots with the crew of skaters that Ive been watching for years. Brandon Westgate is my favourite skater but skates so fucking fast I dont know if I could keep up with him filming a line. I'd try though! 😁🤙
something about this video is so delightful. the only word i can think to describe it is "mid-school" but i'm not sure that's right. the benihanas and inverts, the diy spots made of beer kegs and plywood, the rock and punk music, it makes it feel like a secret collectible included in a tony hawk video game. it's awesome. thanks for all y'all do.
