It was really sad to se three heart breaks😢... But the best part was that there was no jealousy or rivalry but instead the way all there MLs were discussing how many times they got hit was really funny😂 most importantly the part when ML was reminding other 2 that since he got the most hits so he deserves to be with FL😂😂😂😂😂 And the way the villian said "I do too" it was really heart breaking💔
Cute drama. So glad they didn't make the younger sister evil just a little selfish. So funny when the three of them were discussing the different ways Xi Er had beaten them up. To bad she couldn't start a harem because all three are gorgeous.
This was a really charming mini-drama. The plot was full of twists and turns, and often hilarious. My favorite scene was Lan Chen laying on his back after Xi'er walked in and flipped him, saying, "You could knock before you come in." The lead characters' acting did the job. Shout-out to the Jin girls' mother. With few speaking lines, she came across as a strong, sweet, and nurturing parental presence. Costuming and makeup were better than in a lot of full-length dramas. The women's makeup was light and attractive. They wore stylish, professional clothes to work. I don't think I've ever seen a FL look better than Xi'er did in the stunning red gown. The theme song was sweet. The whole thing had to struggle with awful production values and sound. I'd love to see this made for real with a decent budget and tighter pacing, so that the comic and touching moments and the business espionage hit harder. As it is, they did amazingly well with what they had to work with.
I think the sound quality has nothing to do with the production. It sounds like all background music was removed and a background noise filter was added to avoid copyright strikes. This happens often for RUclips movies/series.

It seems that the majority of the Chinese dramas have the same theme throughout. A CEO of a 'group', basically a business or a conglomerate, passed down via nepotism like an empire transferring power from father to son to grandson is a main character. Then a hapless or struggling female character enters the picture. Nothing deep. Nothing esoteric. They struggle, fall in 'love' without any substance at all. No spiritual connection, no eternal future...just work for the success of a family financial 'group' to save 'face'...I'm reminded of the song that was popular years ago, "If that's all there is"....because at the end of the day, their existence is shallow.
that's why I stick to historical dramas 💅 (proud bandit/gangster ml fan 🥰 or army general ones 🤤 - dramas that have more military themes often have a better exploration of morals and ideals which is why I normally don't watch modern CEO trope dramas unless I'm looking for just romantic smush) examples of great historical dramas for moral themes+plot as well as romance: Bloody romance sound of the desert The heiress The wolf The Rise of Pheonixes I think for modern dramas, I prefer ones that don't highlight the wealth and nepotism of the MLs, ones that don't go into the whole rich mother and poor love interest stereotypes. I enjoy cross overs with other genres like with 'I want to resign every single day' where she is a secretary and absolutely despises her boss but enters a groundhog day scenario and gets to know him better- it has a whole murder mysteryesque subplot which is more interesting. Lol, I have a lot more modern and historical c drama recommendations if ur interested but now i realise I'm replying to a comment from 7 months ago so ya probs wont be 😅 (If ya are, i have lots of recommendations for enemy to lovers and ones with great chemistry 🥰)
Although this isn't a toxic drama, this is too draggy!!! ML is a complete coward. He didn't even know if he slept with someone. He was even ready to marry evil woman to take responsibility and also humiliated FL for that evil woman. It has a happy ending and some good elements in the drama. But for me it wasn't worth watching for 5 hours!!
He wasn't sure because she had drugged him. That's what she did when she put the white powder in the water. I also think him agreeing so quickly was part of the trap him, Xi'en and Zeng had set up for her and the uncle. He wanted to make them think they had won.
Good drama, everyone played their roles good. The female villainess was very annoying though. All three of the males could play male leads. Thanks for the English subtitles.👍
They got the villainess look perfect. The way they accentuated her chin and nose with makeup it gives you the feeling of the wicked witch from wizard of oz.
Actually if you translate Kim from Korean to Mandarin it becomes Jin, so it's really the same surname (meaning "Gold"). That's certainly no accident. I'm sure the writers intended it to be at least a tribute to the original, if not a remake.
