There's only one album worth listening to in modern music: No Stylist. The raw power, naked emotion, heartfelt, far out beauty has been attempted countless times before but never to the perfection No Stylist reached. The man pours his soul out to the world, baring his inner hidden shell to a judging public. The album is a game changer, polarizing, daring. The mixed feedback indicates this. While some "just don't get it", others realize the magnitude and power of what is being done here. Like most works of art, there is a divided audience initially. People are scared, horrified of the paradigm shift, but yet they are in awe and can't look away, because its unlike anything they've ever heard or experienced in their lives. No Stylist inspired me to love music again. No Stylist has redefined what music can be. This album alone is the sole reason why the modern age, the present, is the best time to live in. Any other time, we wouldn't be graced with the opportunity to hear this master work.

I’m 42 years old which means that I am an “oldhead” by today’s standards but I really don’t understand why ppl my age hate this type of music. I grew up listening to punk rock music so when I first heard playboy carti and Destroy lonely and them I was delighted to hear that some form of head bopping music was still being created. My son knew that I liked rage and punk so he told me to listen to the opium record label and at first I was skeptical because I thought it was just going to be those silly typical rappers that u hear on the radio like Lil Nas or whatever but when I heard No Stylist for the first time I was PLEASED that my son told me about this group. I personally disagree with this take but I do understand ur point of how the lyrics can infect the younger generations and what not.

Destroy Lonely has become my reason for life. After a life full of hardships from every angle of my life, I found Destroy Lonely. And my life turned around completely. I was homeless before but after listening to this album Jeff Bezos contacted me and shared a portion of his wealth with me. My life has been completely flipped. I now own a succesful oil company. I have a beautiful wife and 3 amazing kids. Destroy Lonely is the reason that I'm in this position. Thank you Lone.

I honestly want you to consider this project for a re-listen. As a a hip hop artist some his nasally refrains are very distinct .
Been a fan of the needle drop for years.. it’s very rare I disagree w/ a review of yours, but I do here. The production on this album is nice and Lone’s flows are hypnotic. Is it lyrically dense? No, but it’s not supposed to be. It’s vibe music. Maybe you’ll revisit this review and re grade it later. Feel like you just didn’t give it a chance or go into it w/ an open mind.

I disagree. Only because the underground goes a lot deeper than this. This dude has thousands and thousands of fans. There’s lots of groundbreaking stuff happening with artists who only get 500 likes on a song. I believe soon they’ll come out of the woodwork and push boundaries

This is a weird review. I'm listening to the album right now and it's not nearly that bad. Even that supposedly "worst flow" on the second track is kinda hypnotic.
I give this album a 5 out of 10, the production is tight and all destroy needs is a mentor on rhythm and groove lessons maybe cause I though his flow on no stylist was definitely unique despite it being a big Tik tok sound. it’s on the top tier of hit or miss artists

Would be interested to hear your thoughts on Burial's Antidawn EP. It has had a very marmite-like reception, but I think it is Burial's most interesting work to date, and first listening to it was possibly my favourite musical experience of all time

Honestly I think you go a bit rough on underground and chalk them up to the people their influenced by to easily dismiss them, but once they gain traction you start to lighten up and are more open. My greatest example beyond this review is you dismissing Redveil as an Earl sweatshirt wanabe after only hearing a snippet of a song on stream. I think there’s some factor you should let go and judge each body of work for the body of work itself not the influences the artist has, although that’s a good point to make in a review i feel it clouds your judgement and you’ll look back at some of these releases once the artists are bigger and semi cringe. This wouldn’t get such a low score if it was the same exact project but put out by UZI for example. Just my opinion as a subscriber and overall music enjoyer.
He literally gave Semetary an 8, and he’s actually underground. Destroy Lonely and Ken Carson are not underground in any sense of the word. They’re just industry plants who make generic versions of a popular type of rap. You’re acting like he’s going hard on them because their music is like too avant-grade or something lol, when it’s literally the most mainstream type of rap you could make.
