Been home sick with lots of free time so I decided to try this repair before ordering a 3rd Subwoofer. After I took apart the unit and removed the cover off the power amp I inspected the circuit board for any burnt MOSFET transistors that drives the gate circuit. To my amazement all looked good but there was an open in the two IC points as decribed, so I soldered a jumper between these points, I reassembled the subwoofer unit and WOW I got power Led on and sound again!!!! I'll try this fix on my original subwoofer when I get time! Such a simple fix! Thank You Roberto!!!!
Hi getting loud back feed noise, which I assume the sub woofer is the problem. This is a Lifestyle 35 AV18. Purchased in 2005. Any suggestions…thanks so much!
Hi, Thanks for your video, I plan to follow your step to fixed my dead Bose subwoofer, however I noticed the PCB version of mine is 286612-003. Do you have any suggestion/advice for me? Thanks.
Thanks! I have downloaded the drawing. I checked the same way as you did. Pin 5 and Pin 12 is linked. But I couldn't get the 20Vdc. Is there a another way I can check?

Don’t use the jumper. The circuit diagram showed in the video is not the same.
Are you still fixing these boards? I have bose 2866012-001 board(sub). Does not power on ,can't get any power reading from pin 5.
Yes, send me an email crespotvservice@hotmail.com

@@fhaizalkasim2258 did you check for shorted transistors? Or at least are you getting any voltage on the primary side ?
can you give some hints on which transistors to check on?
