Kathryn was supposed to be 14 when she was presented at Court but was probably 12 or 13 and sent away, she was returned to Court by Norfolk, ( also the uncle of Anne Bolyen) to be a lady in waiting to Anne of Cleeves. Kathyrn was 14 or 15 when she married Henry. The poor girl was sexually abused from an early age , her life was very tragic.

Catherine of Aragon was not the teenage fifth wife of HenryVIII. Catherine of Aragon was Queen of England as the first wife of King Henry VIII from their marriage on 11 June 1509 until its annulment on 23 May 1533.

I don't recall the content creator getting the two Catherines confused. She always referred to #5 as Catherine Howard.

Catherine's execution was brutal, but comparing it to the execution of Anne Boleyn, you need to take into consideration what the charges were against Anne. Any mercy that Anne received was so Henry could appear merciful, but to Anne he was not in my opinion. Henry was cruel, and Anne was made to suffer, but under other circumstances. Anne was not given a fair trial, being accused on trumped up charges along with her brother, and 4 other men. Her execution was delayed, she wasn't given a proper burial, but instead thrown into a arrow chest along with her head, and the Henry's intention was to erase her from history.

Sounds awful but i guess henry hsd to be ruthless to set an example especially back then. I mean of she had it off with someone else then a possible heir might not be of royal blood
