To anybody getting these as their first set of pry bars: I tried using the small one as a chisel and now it's stumpy from a combination of prying and chiseling. They are great for prying existing gaps but are generally brittle near the tips. Great first set.
My question is how thick are the open ends compared to the tool truck brands? My mistake was I bought the craftsman full polish lobster claws as my first full wrench set and it haunts me to this day.
If you can find the old Craftsman Professional Series wrenches they are not the lobster claws I know for fact because I have some of them. just hold on to yours because with Stanley buying out Craftsman they promise they're going to bring it back to the States you should be able to trade them in then
I have the snap on flake drives I’m a heavy line earth moving equipment technician and I’m gonna tell u these Milwaukee wrench’s are great no issues I’d would make this a Professional total choice I deal with a lot of rusted bolts and nuts and hydraulic lines
I would love to see a real test between Milwaukee, Snap On, and Mayhew. A lot of people are dying to find out how they compare. For some reason no one has done a proper test to see if the top brands really outperform or not.
Got a set of the metric flat wrenches. Disappointed there was no 24mm. Box and open ends are sort of bulky. I'm sure they are good but won't be replacing my old set of John Deere wrenches
Those Milwaukee wrenches look very similar to my MAC Precision Torque wrenches. I'll bet they were a lot cheaper. I have a set of Snap-On Flank Drive, but I don't use them much since I got the MAC. The Snap-On are just too thin and they hurt my hands when I have to put the pressure on.
At first I thought it was a Mac precision wrench 😂 kinda weird becuase dewalt is a sister company of Mac. I got a few expert and Mac wrenches and like them as much as my snap on each wrench has it's spot to shine. My favorite cheap wrench is dewalt they kinda hurt when your really going on them but for the price I say they're pretty decent and lifetime warranty through Mac 🖒
Can we get dimensions on the wrench holders? Want to decide if I want these for my tool cart, or just save up for the Genius master metric kit for my big box and throw what I need on a wrench holder in my cart
That's really no surprise to me I've never seen Milwaukee make a product that has not held up as good as a lot of your big tool brands in fact I know some texts that are starting to buy Milwaukee cordless tools / Snap-on
Budget tools no, buy the craftsman red handles with striking cap made by Wilde tool in Kansas, or buy them directly from Wilde off Harry J. Epsteins. Made in USA and very very cheap. On harry Epstein you can get a 4", 12", 17", 25", 31", and 36" with striking cap for 70 bucks. You can also get a custom made rack for them which will still put you in at like 90 bucks. Support USA manufacturers before the Chinese put them out of business for good!
Chris Wittekind, I think Budget Tools was referring to buying the Carlyle wrenches if you need bigger combination wrench sizes not the prybars. I have the Craftsman prybar set you mentioned & yes they are the best price point set you can get currently for USA made
Hey bud, could you do a video comparing the Milwaukee pry bars to snap on pry bars? I’m looking to buy a set and with my student discount, I can get the 4 piece snap on set for about the 30$ more than the price of the Milwaukee 4 piece set. Im interested in Milwaukee’s I Beam design, but I’d like to see an in depth comparison before I spend any money. Thanks man!
My only complaint with the pry bars is the damn tray is junk..if you are gonna include one then make it right. If not don’t include it. One more thing to scrap lol
are the handles on the milwaukee prybar set all rubber. i was going to order a set of 4 in the 48-22-9214 kit but it looks like they have updated the handles with smooth polished plastic handles with center sectioned rubber for grip. i havent been able to find a video of this kit any newer that 2 years ago can you answer this concern i have i love full rubber handles and dont want to get them if they have changed !

I’ve been waiting on this before I pulled the trigger on the wrenches. Thanks!
Good video, I've been very impressed with Milwaukee tools lately, I bought the M12 Fuel 3/8 impact wrench and ratchet and they are top notch!
Awesome Enjoy!
Love that Milwaukee is coming out with hand tools. Love they're new style screw drivers also.
Nice update. I forgot about the pry bars so it's good to hear they and the wrenches are holding up.

Good info, glad to hear they are holding up.
Updates are always welcome like a good breakfast in the morning !

Great video i will be purchasing a set of these you can see the toughness in these wrenches and bars thanks for the update .
Got a set of those wrenches in the mail glad I didn’t make a mistake buying them, thanks for a great video as always FRM!
Good follow up! That is always good info! Better than trusting reviews on websites
Thanks for the update. Milwaukee's killing it!
I was waiting for the update thanks man! ill be purchasing both soon.
Don't think they sell these in Europe, never seen Milwaukee hand tools over here only electric tools.
+DiagnoseDan i honestly do not know, over here most home improvement stores have Milwaukee's hard line tools as well as there electric stuff
Thanks for the update and making me feel bad for a prybar.

My only complaint about the wrenches is that it's shorter compared to my Bluepoint set.
Thnx, FLM, much appreciated 👍
I commented on the other video lol. Thanks for the update. I wish I could give jesse some of my tools lol too see if they last 😆
I just wish Milwaukee would make the hand tools in America.
Chris Wittekind those are nice and I have snapon pry bars but I’m a Milwaukee fan boy lol and want more American made MILWAUKEE.
Where are the wrenches made now, I thought they were made in USA?

I went with the Milwaukee prybars on sale.
Thanks for the update.

FRM, given that the open-end of that combo wrench set is designed to grip the fastener better, would you like to them in a "stubby" wrench design?
It would be good, as many times you wind up using a stubby wrench and a prybar to make something in a tight spot loosen up;)
That's really no surprise to me I've never seen Milwaukee make a product that has not held up as good as a lot of your big tool brands in fact I know some texts that are starting to buy Milwaukee cordless tools / Snap-on
Buy Carlyle for the bigger sizes

Chris Wittekind walmart also sells those
Mad Hatter you are correct
I am curious how is the flex on those pry bars when your really getting at something
almost none
Excellent update!

Hist ordered both sets of these wrenches after watching this review

Great video and update!
Thanks Mike
Don't use brake clean on the Milwaukee grips!)hand tools or power tools). Unless you want pink tools lol. Use a degreaser. Trust me. I know...
Thanks great update
great info

Was there ever any doubt?? =)
+Thomas EXOVCDS 😁🤣🤣🤣honestly they have been really good tools
Wonder what length pry bars they make? Looking to get a 3 or 4 foot bar. I'll have to look. May try one.
Debating if these or the husky pry bars ?
Good update
Thanks Glen
Great Vid!
thanks again thumbs up!
Wrenches need to be a bit longer. I have the carlyle and they are great.
Jursaw
So you bought the Milwaukee and used them?
I don't have the wrenches nor the prybrars from them but I looked up the specs and saw they were a bit shorter then mine
Lol put the latex on to touch those dirty rotton tools lol!! Jk
LOL, More about not getting grease on my Camera or Audio euipment;)
That's good!
I think most wrenches are decent. I mean even a tekton set will get the job done.
Thanx 🔧🔧🔧🔧🛠🛠🛠😃😃😃
First 💕 love from cali
WD-40 takes out all that grease
So does brake clean;)
Flat Rate Master oh I did not know that nice 👍
I agree with the WD. They used to make packs of WD-40 wipes that were great for cleaning greasy tools and hands. Tub o Towels wipes work good too.
😎👍🏼👨🏼🔧👍🏼
