This song is amazing, listening to this I have started to write a book...this is just a summary but here goes...I know we’ve parted our different ways for the best and it didn’t end particularly to well but hey that’s life, certain things are unplanned and come as a shock. It’s how you deal with it after that makes you the person you are. After looking back at it you made the correct decision and it takes a brave woman to do that, I bow down to you. There were many mistakes made by myself in the relationship looking back at it, bold decisions may I add too, when you needed me the most I was irresponsible and lacked to care, maybe because I was your partner rather than your friend and took things for granted or was in a world of my own, I’d say mixture of both combined with other reasons. I remember one summer evening in August 2013 my niece being emotional when saying her farewells to her parents, it than made me think she can ring her mother when she wants, she can even visit her when she wants, even our paths may cross in the future one day there always that possibility but that night it hit me you will never be able to see your father in this world and my heart bleeds for you. I pray you find faith in life because that’s the only thing that will bring you closer to him. This may come as a strong statement but let’s face it, its reality. As we get older we lose track of what is important & worry more about things that won't help us in our graves. It took 10 years to build the relationship and only 10 seconds to destroy it, just shows there’s no certainties in life. Everyone will leave you or give up on you one day but remember god will never. You only live once but if you do it right once is enough.
Let’s face it I make an awful partner but you have to admit I make the perfect best friend and I should have stuck with what I was good at instead of experimenting and beating around the bush. Life is a risk in itself and I certainly took one and not a day passes that I regret it, you know why? Because I’m here today writing this chapter in my life advising how I have accelerated on with my life, turned negatives into positives and taken full responsibility for my actions. "Work hard in silence, let success make the noise." Some call it mistakes but I class it as a hiccup, to rise you have to fall and that’s exactly what I have done. Forget what hurt you in the past but never forget what it taught you. Everyone’s really quick to judge but if I listened to everyone I wouldn’t be hear writing this, remember you’re the one who can make it happen, you come into this world with nothing and you leave with nothing. There’s always things that will get in the way of you chasing your dreams but don’t let it and that door you have closed that has your dream behind it only you hold the key to open it and once it opens don’t let anyone else get in the way what makes you happy. A good friend told me the happiest people don’t have the best of everything instead they just make the best of everything.
I’m not living my life anymore to be “liked”. I could care less about fitting in. As long as I’m living my purpose, I’m willing to be hated on, misunderstood, and criticized. After all, that’s just a price you pay when you share a gift. When your life speaks greatness, this world will do anything to silence that voice. That why my self-worth isn’t based upon what anyone thinks. I won’t allow my happiness to be dependent upon pleasing opinions. I’ll never live for anyone’s validation, and there opinions on how I live hold no value to my life. God knows my heart, not you. So, you can either love me or hate me, but regardless of what you decide, I promise you this I’ll never stop being who god created me to be. I didn’t meet your requirements but the world is a big place and one day I will make someone happy and there’s no need for myself to change as someone will appreciate me for who I am.
The pair of us deserve joy and happiness unfortunately in this lifetime we cannot share it together but that doesn’t mean in the next life time we can’t give it another try as circumstances may be different the next time round. Life is all about timing and in this era it was not our destiny and nothing to be dis heartened about.
There say when a bird is alive, it eats ants but when a bird is dead, ants eat the bird. Time and circumstances can change at any time. My experience so far don’t hurt or devalue anyone, you may be powerful today but remember time is more powerful than you. They say one tree makes a million match sticks but only one matchstick is needed to burn a million trees.
If my mum was to ever bump into you, her head will be held high and she will greet you the way she always did and that’s when I can say my mum is the best as there are few woman like this in the world. This is what society lacks, sincerity and loyalty.
If I was told tomorrow you were getting married I would be more than happy to give your hand away to the very special person and will support you throughout, why? My heart is clean and I ‘m genuine, friendship means the world to me.
There is not one bad thing I can say about you except when 7 years ago I sent an email informing you if we break up we must remain friends as all the emails we sent each other I will write a novel and show the world a man and woman can be best mates, this has not been the case as of yet because you didn’t stick to your end of the bargain but I have every faith we will meet one day and will have a story to share..
Just remember when I die don’t come near my body because my hand will not be able to wipe your tears anymore. If one day you feel like crying call me. I don’t promise you that I will make you laugh but I can cry with you. If one day you want to run away don’t be afraid to call me. I don’t promise to ask you to stop but I can run with you. If one day you don’t want to listen to anyone call me I promise to be very quiet. But one day if you call and I don’t answer come fast to see me, maybe I need you.
I sincerely wish you all the best in the future and don’t want to burden you or cross your path as you progress to be the successful woman you are just remember we were once friends and I hope one day we can continue in being that, then will I only be able to publish this story. Love happens once…the rest is just life.
