Oh soo beautiful of them. I have an idea one of red very light red fabric top with red flowers around. Also other is black flowered too. I am very tired. I am all right. 👍😊😘🤟🏾🙌🏽🖤❤️📱
Well. There it is. Another outstanding DIY by InTheEventPhoto. Your ideas are superlative. So out of the mundane and ordinary. I'm currently working on the 8 clear vase free standing flower center piece to go in my foyer. I had to go to 3 dollar trees to get the clear vases. I haven't yet found the flowers to hang in the vases. I think everyone here in Queens NY saw that DIY and scooped all the materials!!!! Hahahaha. You're simply amazing. When do your fans get to see the face behind that awesome gifted talent? I woulda also love to see a "dollar tree shop with me". I bet your Dollar Tree is stacked with goodies! Peace. One. p.s. I love love the music to this video!!!!
Hi Taina Maria, I know what you mean about not finding stuff at Dollar tree. I usually go to 3 to get what I want. I eventually will show my face (haha) in the video because I have a few DIYs that are too big for a close up. I actually have a little bit of a phobia of public speaking, so my voice will probably not be heard. Maybe I'll surprise you one day. Thank for your support, as always. Karem
I 'm obsessed with the black one... Just stunning. Why did'nt you spraypaint the red one, special reason for that? Thanks again for sharing your beautiful ideas with us. 😘😘😘
awesome i think for the black one if you covered the pot itself with black lace or fur would be different the plastic just feels to plain with your wonderful design
The black umbrella would be nice for a evening wedding with lots of accessories of gold & lights not all necessarily have to be attached to the umbrella but different items be gold with lights accessories
Spay paint would only if you have an even hand with it. The same with hand brushing, using a larger roll brush would more evenly coat it, but it also increases drying time and wastes more paint. That painting done here can be more even if dried and recoated in between layers if you wanted to wait a bit. Keeping in mind the heavier the paint layers, the less chance of folding it layer without cracks occuring for any type of paints unless you use more exspensive fabric paints and slowly layer them up with drying sessions in between to get a desired overall coating.
I got a tip from a subscriber that used to paint umbrellas, and she said to use oil based paint. I guess that can give it a more vibrant color. About the spray paint... I guess you could try it. But it may take a few coats. You might also try to make a template out of the black plastic top, get red fabric and sew or hot glue to the frame. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching. 😁
Oh if you can see as the event mentions, there are a ton of possibilities. I often canabalized the damaged thrift shop umbrellas and used the technique they mentioned to draft a new one. All you need is one mostly intact panel to trace, add on a small seam allowance, and the template can be used on new fabrics in different colors. Just keep in mind that some fabrics have a different stretch to them, some are prone to freying, some are not water proof, some show pin marks, etc. But you can do lace a battenburg parasol version to a Halloween spiderweb, to a white satin wedding style. And the antique handles add so much more to it. I redo them for lolita and Victorian fashion as functioning umbrellas this way, but silly me, didn't occur to me to use as a decoration too. Lol
I think I have an idea very light red fabric on top with flowers around. Its will be nice. What you think? I am do the best. Boths are very beautiful. Other I am watch now.
OMG I can’t believe this is the first time seeing this. Absolutely out of this world it’s right up my alley! I’d love to make one the black one is my fav. Where did you find the black petals? You used a lot of them keep up your brilliant work 👏👏👏👏
Hi. You could use them as parasols (the petals are pretty secure). Umbrella is not attached to the pole. The only thing is, if you want to close them, the petals will get wrinkled. Hope this answered your question. Thanks for watching.
Hi Barbara, Sorry, you can't fold the Black Petal Centerpiece. The Red Rose Centerpiece can be folded but it will wrinkle the umbrella. Thank you soo much for watching.
Thank you Angela for that tip (I had no clue). I might use it in another project and you'll know it was your brilliant idea. Thank you soo much.... again.♥
They do have a spray on fabric paints made for synthetic fabrics now that work well also. Found in the furniture refinishing sections of craft stores. Range from 5 to 11 USD a can, but work very well. Just plan on a single use though as the nozzle and contents tend to gum up after you use them once. (So I get my records done in a 24 hour period, beyond that the spray spits chunks even with a cleaned nozzle.)
Boths of them are very beautiful. WOW!!! You do good job. 👍😊😘🤟🏾🙌🏽🖤❤️📱

I love this idea. I would totally carry one of these around if it folded. I guess just skip the part that makes it "table top decor. Thanks ✌🏻❤
Lovely, it would have been extra special with Crystal Teardrop. ❤

Very nice

I have a question about the red chandelier.Would spray painting the red make the paint go on more evenly.

Hi. I order the petals from Amazon. I think I left the link in the videos description. Thank you soo much for your comment. 🥰❤️
In the Event with Karem Thank you for getting back to me. You ROCK👍👏💖
Too bad they didn’t have that umbrella in white. This is a great 👍 project. I’m going to make this one.
El negro último, me gusto, pero el color tan negro no. Los demás, chulos la verdad!!
I'm curious if they can be used for parasols with those designs or do they have to stay stationary? Beautiful either way.
Hi. You could use them as parasols (the petals are pretty secure). Umbrella is not attached to the pole. The only thing is, if you want to close them, the petals will get wrinkled. Hope this answered your question. Thanks for watching.
@@diykarem it did thank you
Why not use spray paint in red wouldn't it be fast and cover better
I wanted to give it a shadow effect. A subscriber gave me a tip to use enamel paint next time. Hope this answers your question. 😀
Very nice. Can they be folded?
Barbara Bowen that is what I want to know
Probably not
The roses would be i n the way for sure
Hi Barbara, Sorry, you can't fold the Black Petal Centerpiece. The Red Rose Centerpiece can be folded but it will wrinkle the umbrella. Thank you soo much for watching.
BTW an oil based paint will work better on nylon. I painted parasols for 18 years at a theme park.
