Nice Mike! Learned about hot wheels from you throughout my years of collecting and watching your videos! As far as the Datsun goes I could careless myself about the actual car. I have many incomplete hot wheels sets because of one missing piece, and I got over it! I love collecting for the hobby and enjoyment and we can only do the best we can out there! Toy manager at Walmart stated all the m2's and Johnny lightnings were gone through off the pallet last night and nothing was left but empty boxes!!! None for the pegs, or anyone else to buy! So there are people out there that find information out and stalk these stores for the newest stuff (I'd rather being chasing tail) with my spare time lol! Anyways, keep up the great work Mike!
I found all of them at a Kroger,all except the Gotta go but could care less about that one,I think they have done that 510 wagon to death,I much prefer the Superbird or the Firebird.

I just picked up the new 2020 hot wheels boulevard set and bought the extra '55 chevy bel air gasser. Both Gassers are different. 1 is chrome while the other is black. Is this a variation or an error?
@@HotWheelsTV I went to 2 different places and they both have alot of the satin-crome cars, all with the exception of the 510 wagon of course, and no chase car. Additionally I looked at all of the Chevy II, none of them had the old style wheels
The first two i found were the Datsun wagon and Chevy II (with 5 spokes) at a Gamestop. I picked up the rest of the set tonight at a Meijer. I'll have to look for that variation and the Got 2 Go.'

Datsun 510 55 gasser and any truck is a scalpers dream in my neck of the woods. I hate nothing more when you walk in to a store and see someone raided a pallet and left a mess. To make a few bucks on evil bay.

962,444 Datsun 510 Wagons...yeah very rare model LOL. Scalpers and hoarders are making it rare, not the quantities Hot Wheels make. Because they make a ton of them. I still see the old 50th Anniversary set hanging on the pegs of various stores in my area.

It seems like quality control was a bit sloppy on these. The first store I saw these in had two errors on the rack. A Chevy II reversed in the package, and an El Camino in a Datsun 510 package. I didn't check the wheels.
I like the Datsun. That being said, the real treasures are the things that AREN'T meant to have been like that gold blackwall on the Chevy. 60 to 70 percent of my collection is American cars and even some European vehicles. I like all cars but the hype over JDM is somewhat excessive in my humble opinion. Nice come up there Mr.Z.! 💪
Gonna be hard for collectors to finish a set of these because of the missing 510. I bought mine on Ebay for 14.55 shipping 5.99. I got all 7 cars including the Gotta Go...
I let all these cars hang, don't like any of them. The coolest cars Hot Wheels has done lately are the Holley 55 Gasser, and the 64 Jerry Rigged Nova gasser...I have tons of each.

Well my friend you have six of them so I think it's variation, a cool one at that. These guys are taking all the Datsuns because they know people will overpay for them, I have not found the Datsun yet either and I will not pay more than face value. If these people would stop overpaying for some of these cars it would not be as lucrative for the scalpers. Then maybe you and I will be able to find them also. I'm a car guy, I like all cars, I like the datsun wagon I like the Chevys. Don't care much for the fantasy castings though, they can keep the toilet car. I only wish that Mattel would do a master set of everything else that the master set that we know does not have. You and I will end up finding them my friend, it does make me madder than Fish Grease and it is very aggravating. Hunt on my friend.

I found and bought the whole 51st anniversary collection, minus the Gotta Go chase, it's nowhere to be found... and my Chevy II does have the normal 5-spokes front wheel. And I agree that it's not OK for collectors to hoard all the nice cars, I certainly don't buy more than I really want, very few of my Hot Wheels are duplicates, and if I find a Treasure Hunt, then good, I'll add it to my collection. I really wish collector would stop hoarding Hot Wheels like that, it's not OK and nobody should have to pay a fortune to get a single special car, so don't encourage these hoarders, don't buy their stuff, it's not worth it!
Over in the UK we get sooooo short changed when it comes to mainlines never mind the special sets so it really p#$*@ me off when these people hoard them just to gain a few extra £/$/€ like everyone else who's a true collector no way will I pay more than the RRP!........anyway thanks for the heads up on this I'll keep an eye out for them (if we get them in the uk👍🤔)
@@HotWheelsTV we don't ever get shop exclusives only randomly left overs that make there way over the pond (as they say), our equivalent to Walmart is Asda which Walmart own and you would think the exclusives would eventually appear in Asda? BUT not likely and target nothing like that aswell so when us UK collectors go on a hunt for hotwheels it's a bloody long hunt which a lot of the time is fruitless!

Dont blame u on datsuns. I cant understand what's so special over them myself. If they ever owned one or actually drove one from the 70s they think differently over them. I'd rather have the muscle cars or hotrods. And the datsun cars surely not worth what people are selling them for. My opion
No I don't care.... Honest! I have the largest Hot Wheels collection in the world and held that record twice, so missing some doofy Datsun wagon isn't going to bother me. I'll get one eventually and as you see, I've been offered many of them. My concern is for the collectors that don't get offered any....

Yeah, that's happened to me too! I popped open an all small wheel Firebird a while back.

Do you guys get those sets over there in the UK? Do you get the Walmart or Target Exclusives?
@@HotWheelsTV we don't ever get shop exclusives only randomly left overs that make there way over the pond (as they say), our equivalent to Walmart is Asda which Walmart own and you would think the exclusives would eventually appear in Asda? BUT not likely and target nothing like that aswell so when us UK collectors go on a hunt for hotwheels it's a bloody long hunt which a lot of the time is fruitless!

Dont blame u on datsuns. I cant understand what's so special over them myself. If they ever owned one or actually drove one from the 70s they think differently over them. I'd rather have the muscle cars or hotrods. And the datsun cars surely not worth what people are selling them for. My opion

No I don't care.... Honest! I have the largest Hot Wheels collection in the world and held that record twice, so missing some doofy Datsun wagon isn't going to bother me. I'll get one eventually and as you see, I've been offered many of them. My concern is for the collectors that don't get offered any....

Sorry you didn't quite understand that Mike.... I didn't buy them, I didn't ask for them, they showed up in my mail. And I gave the extra's away.... I ranted about the wagon because as you may have taken the time to read all the other comments and notice the 300 or so thumbs up.... its for the other collectors who are not able to find them. I'm not here for me, I'm here for the collectors as a whole. I'm also not here for debates or negative comments, so if that's what you are about, please don't come around. Thank you!
