There were some safety issues preventing the track being raced on in the first year, but before they got fixed, big cough happened and KymiRing was bankrupt. Now it has new owners who (hopefully) can keep the place running without government support.
It could be worse - they could've been trying to stage an F1 race. I'm reminded that we no longer have a French, German, Turkish, Russian, Korean, Malaysian, Portuguese or Indian F1 grand prix.
I'd completely forgotten that Vietnam built an F1 circuit which was completed in February 2020 only for it to be cancelled and never actually raced on.
Actually MotoGP ended up cancelling a record 5 GPs in 2024, 2 due to circuit upkeep (KymiRing and Sokol) 2 due to financial troubles (Argentina and Buddh) and 1 due to severe flooding (Valencia). Only 2 were replaced, one of which resulting in back-to-back rounds at the same circuit with a test day at the same circuit in between. MotoGP does have French (most successful GP in Europe), German, Malaysian, Portuguese and Indian GPs. Only 3 of which being the former F1 circuits at Sepang, Portimao and Buddh. Sachsenring is tiny even for bikes, let alone F1, and Le Mans is also a bit small but both are huge GPs on the MotoGP calendar.
Great lap !! This track was built for motorbikes, but it would also be good for F1. A country with so many world champions should have its own F1 race.
Spa has often been the spiritual home of Finnish drivers due to being a fantastic track in a middle of a forest. Building a track and hosting an F1 event is a monetary and a logistical nightmare in the small, northern country of Finland. The closest we ever got to a "home race" was St. Petersburg, Russia. But that never happened for obvious reasons.
What mistake? A twitch is not a mistake. It's an off and a mistake though if the corner isn't uphill. Kimi knows that when you break traction, you accellerate so that twitch actually gained him time😂
Love getting your videos back again. These laps are just the right bit of juice I need to start the day. I really need to look into this Assetto Corsa game. Is it strictly for computers or is it available for PS3? Xbox?
@@plantfeeder6677 Thank you for the support, it means a lot! This game is also available on PS4 and Xbox One I believe, but all the mods I use that get it to look like this are only on PC (even the tracks and cars are all mods)

I have come up with a reasonable race schedule if you were to do a 2025 F1 Fantasy Championship. Keep in mind this would be a one and done schedule: 1. Indianapolis Motor Speedway 2. Laguna Seca 3. Kuwait Motor Town 4. MotorLand Aragón 5. Donnington Park 6. TT Circuit Assen 7. Brands Hatch 8. Utah Motorsports Campus 9. Tor Poznań 10. Hanoi Circuit 11. Circuit de Nevers-Magny Cours 12. Istanbul Park 13. Autopolis Other tracks can be chosen by fan votes.
The section after the long back straight was obviously copied from Zandvoort and the final turn looks like it was inspired by, if not copied from the modern Fuji circuit.
damn this track is pretty soulless if u ask me. maybe 1 or 2 interesting corners but as for the rest just plain boring turns. The track just screams Motorbike racing
This circuit has been on the MotoGP calendar for the last 4 years but has never actually taken place due to...reasons.
it's really funny

Kimi: "Just leave me alone, I know what I'm doing"!
This circuit reminds me of the driver I have followed since I was 7 years old and his performance was a successful one. Enjoy 😊
Thanks man! Looks like a great track
Petition to rename it the Kimi Ring
i thought it was named after Kimi lol
Fake video, 0:18 . Kimi NEVER makes a mistake. (this comment is satire)
@@verticalflyingb737 you’re right he would only do it in the last sector not the first lol
Kimi would say: "I know what I am doing...."

For a second I wondered if the track surface was ice, in honour of the Iceman.
Kimi: The place is safe, where are the motos?
That Turns 1-3 and long straight, it looks like F1 India Grand Prix 2011.
It looks like a good track, but I think it would need to be made a lot wider
Bom vídeo
2020-the year the Ferrari engine sounded like it had terminal Covid at low revs
Sooo kimi how was the race: kimi: the race was bwoa
Love this
@@CailaoPOV I love you king

You finally return? And next year you do the Championship

apart from the first sector, this is a really nice track
I love the first sector. A fast dive down the hill into a hairpin you absolutely have to get perfect for the optimal run down the long straight.
I've always thought that Finland is one of the coolest countries in the world
I mean, as a country up far north, it literally is

So could you try to do the Sydney Olympic park street
Even better if it could be done in webbers 2012 red bull
It would probably be good for F1, if it wasn't so tight. It gives me strong Portimao or Catalunya vibes
you could run a lap with his 2018 ferrari... that one was a cannon!
2007 Ferrari or even his MP4-20
why do I drive good laps when I drive with this camera angle, am I real simracer?
This would make a really nice race, both in Moto GP and in F1.
For F1 i'm not so sure
damn this track is pretty soulless if u ask me. maybe 1 or 2 interesting corners but as for the rest just plain boring turns. The track just screams Motorbike racing
well, it was also built to meet MotoGP standards, so i guess you're not wrong..
