I have been watching this guy make drinks for a long time. I'm amazed by how genuine and passionate he is.. I'll definitely visit you one day and return to this comment that I drank a drink you made.
Its always fascinating to listen to a man talk about his art and its emotional attachments - very enjoyable - well edited - nice soundtrack - good length! Thanks for posting !
i went to all the bars in this video play list. Ishi no Hana is by far my favorite one. Shinobu is the most technically proficient bartender I've ever met in all my travels around the world. Doesn't mean he's the most creative, nor the most expressive, neither is the bar the most elaborate or elegant. But his skills, his technical proficiency, his rigor in how he practices and makes drinks everyday, is miles above anyone else i've ever met in my life. Really worth going to his bar to check it out. You do need to speak japanese however as english skills are hit and miss, but man, honestly an honor to sit in his bar every time.
I hope to use these videos to listen to the person speaking and maybe learn some Japanese, but the music is a bit loud to be honest. If possible could you remove it? I think the videos may be more successful with little or no music at all.
Thanks for your comment. Actually, the original sound we recorded is not very good, so we have to mix it with music. Anyway, we should try to find the right balance. We appreciate your advice. Arigato gozai masu.
@@barsofnuera Ah I see, I understand. I think the content is great and it really helps me understand more of the mindset perspective of Japanese bartender's. I hope you continue and do well!
@@matt818 Thank you for your understanding! Now we’re trying to spread the very unique perspective of Japanese bartenders. We are very happy with your supportive comments. Ganbari masu.
We are so glad see your comments! Though there are some points to be improved (sounds, typo etc.), we hope this interview could capture Japanese bartenders’ mindset as shoku-nin (artisan or craftsman) .

The background music isn't a problem at all. It actually makes it a cool video and the voice of Ishigaki san is loud and clear too.
