a tip I find for removing e-clips from the joystick is pushing the joystick into the base or pushing the actuator into base. That makes it so you can easily get to the clip without cutting yourself or a wire lol(been there)
The chain for my Simpsons arcade became stripped out of the CP. What should I use to fill the hole? Should I just anchor at another part of the cabinet?
Yep. They are these ones right here: www.twistedquarter.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=190_193 They still work great too! They've had a lot of play time put into them too. Great sticks.
Thank you for the quick reply I subscribed to your channel . Love the turtles in time arcade . I have the original 1989 arcade cab with both turtles in time pcb and the original . I've been very lucky so far I have the tmnt in time marquee , , side art , control panel and now I just ordered the buttons and joysticks. I'm hoping one day to get a beat up Simpsons or sunset riders ( stereo not mono like 89 tmnt) to restore to a tmnt in time . I'm having one issue on the decals that come on the control panel and coin door ( arrows with player and name and attack jump) can' t find it anywhere any ideas?
Sunset riders would be awesome! As far as the decals go, I would head over to KLOV and put up a WTB post. I believe Rick (forums.arcade-museum.com/member.php?u=55653) was selling them but had some issues and might not be making them anymore. Really the KLOV forum can help you find nearly anything you need for a restore.

Thanks for the tip Marcos. Yeah I ended up jamming a screwdriver into my hand on another cabinet.

dj3stripes That's exactly what I did on this machine. Just moved a screw to another spot on the side of the cp and put it in there.
My kids ripped out the cord to mine, could you tell how to rewire the cord. I can't tell witch wire goes where and don't want to wire bbn it backwards
Hello awesome video and arcade cab. do you remember exactly which buttons and joysticks you purchased from twisted quarter ? Thank you
